I was in Madrid for the occupation of the Plaza del Sol and associated protests last summer/fall and was struck by the spirit of mutual respect between protesters and police and the profound peacefulness of the protests. Even when the protesters spilled into Cibeles and the plaza in front of the Prado which is about 100 meters from the Cortes (Parliament) there was no violence. I wonder what difference a year made. "Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan" is an anagram for "My ultimate Ayn Rand porn." Earlier someone posted an infographic about how to deal with the police to ensure that you do not incriminate yourself. Though the advice is good, I feel it is not specific enough. Here's a video that goes into a lot more detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4nQ_mFJV4I Required viewing for all Americans.

Well I'm going to assume that you don't know how bad those anti-muslim blogs are, because they're quite loving terrible, full of racist and hateful advocacy, and were referenced by mass murderer Anders Breivik in his anti-Muslim manifesto. I do agree though that spray painting can lead to some terrible things, especially with threats against the living.
