So FUD 5... they hit a jackal with the warthog, so it stops working??  Like, first, I'm pretty sure a future military Humvee is gonna be pretty rugged. About the end of the last episode of FUD, Infinity is escorted by a bunch of capital ships. Hasn't it only been 3-5 years since Halo 3? I thought the entirety of what was left of the UNSC fleet went to the Ark.

I guess they're really really good at building ships? I mean, it takes us about ten years to build a wimpy little aircraft carrier in comparison.  Also just want to say, holy poo poo that hunter in FUD was loving massive. I think it's also the first time you actually get to see the worms individually. I thoroughly enjoyed the FUD series.

What's the verdict on using a USB flashdrive for the multiplayer install? I want to save a bit of cash and just pick up the 4GB console, then use my SanDisk Cruzer 16GB to install the second disc onto. Will that be fine for extensive multiplayer? It's not going to kill the drive or anything?

On the one hand, 343 is already caving to MLG whining, on the other, sticking it off in a separate app entirely is the best possible way to do it. Actually, the best possible way to do it would be like credit scores, where you have to pay a fee to see your then current score that immediately becomes out-of-date.

For what its worth, the MLG people I talked to during a visit to 343 seemed to like the game a lot, and I was convinced they'd hate stuff like ordnance and the ranking system. As it turns out, assholes are everywhere! I seriously don't get how showing the ranking is a big deal: Most of you don't even bother playing with those people/ignore them/poo poo all over the people who think they are pro. I heard a while back that weapon pickups are being randomized to an extent in some modes. Is it every mode or what? Can you disable it in forge maps, at least? I could see that getting obnoxious if I just want to play some deathmatch every so often. edit: Back in Halo 3, I got both sides to call a truce in the middle of a match. Does that make me an rear end in a top hat? I wanna be an rear end in a top hat too!
