A big thank you to 13Pandora13, Rythe, and family, and Andaley for some most excellent holiday cheer. We were away for a week and came back to a stack of mail which included your cards. It was the most fun we have had opening mail in a long time. Thanks!! Goons are the best -- we have received more goon cards than family cards. Thanks for making our holidays festive, hon.

Goon love is the best love! I got awesome Christmas cards and goodies from: Tempura Wizard, Thermophonic Joy, Crazy Old Clarice, 13Pandora, the always holiday spirited Lamb, Marlow, Fluffy Bunnies, Team Lunch and Coyote Ugly. My family doesn't do holiday cards, so YAY and THANKS!

Came home at 1am from a crappy day at work and had three wonderful goon x-mas cards waiting for me on the coffee table for my enjoyment. First off I have from DLAO a wonderful card full of sparkles, a neat snowflake and what I think might be the devil/reindeer origami. Regardless of the possible devils, the card was great and the snowflake will go on my Christmas tree this year and for years after.  Next up from Naomie DI got this bright and glittery card with a wicked awesome little necklace thing with my user name on it, might have to work that into a avatar or something soon.  Finally from Bampf Kerpow I got this super awesome card with angels on front and a great Doctor Who reference inside, I had to be tired because it took me a moment to get this. Awesome little joke, I loved it and I am sure my wife will have no idea what it is about.  Thanks a lot for the goon love and your cards are going on the mantle next to my families cards.

We've gotten five cards so far, and it's been really exciting to open them! I don't have them in front of me now and don't specifically remember the names of you beautiful goons, but I'll update with pictures and greetings and such as soon as I have some time left over. In other news, about 20 cards are leaving Norway tomorrow, headed for adventure! I added a disclaimer to every single one, because I have no idea what the niece faces did in the cards they made.  More to come as we start replying to the cards we've gotten and sending out some New Year's/Huzzah It's January/Oh God It's Already Valentines Day cards, whichever matches our turtle-y speed.

Ok, my home renovation project is done, Christmas shopping is done, Sassmass gifts have been dispatched and my client's 2013 plans have been authorized. Time to tackle this pile of (in some cases very late) thank yous! In alphabetical order: Andaley, China Blue (awesome, you even captured Castiel's perpetually crusty chapped lips), Crazy Old Clarice, Cmdr Tomalak,  Cone of Tragedy (Cool foreign gelt! Lamb Jr. keeps making me play driedel with him since he learned about Hanukkah in school. I'm going to eat this in front of him), Disargeria, Fluffy Bunnies,  Foxxor the Red, Genesplicer,  Kafka's Goldfish sent a bunch of mail - I love the cross-stitch you guys are doing  JimmydaFish somehow knew I love bacon, marlow covered my desk in glitter, Opera Bitch made me a cool glow-in-the-dark bookmark  I'm not sure what Palette Swap's cat is up to, party hat told me about Poutineries (sounds dirty), Team Lunch sent greetings from the Outer Banks, and Big Time Rush um, wait. Never mind that one.  PezMaster's students are awesome  and last but not least, Tempura Wizard and Thermophonic Joy (holy crap so many stickers)

Everyone else Also first person to quote this with their address is going to get some Christmas-y stuff from a bunch of Japanese high school students. Could be hand-drawn pictures of gigantic robots fighting schoolgirls in school-regulation-breaking-ly short skirts while swinging cats by their tails, could be a school announcement about 'please gargle and wash your hands sufficiently', I promise nothing!
