Like, 'ya I know he's basically black loving face aping a culture to steal money from one of the few avenues young black artists have to make it out of their lovely circumstances...but it's alright because he's like on drugs and CRAAAAAZY'

I've been listening to a lot of Macklemore recently. Love his stuff, partly because he raps about different or interesting topics (cough syrup abuse, gay rights, fuckin' thrift shops, etc) and partly because he's just a good rapper with good production. Is there anyone similar in those respects? I've already been recommended Madvillainy and Oneirology for interesting subjects.

Jazz, Rock & Roll, and now hip hop. And there are some that feel more genuine then others.
