You’re telling me Peter Parker is ...... Spider-man!?

Gatts posted:

It's kind of funny how the character progressed from the start. The Hood had a different theme to him compared to what Bendis turned him into and Ares' first story was about a Father and his Son and Ares making a life in the modern world. On the other hand I think Greg Pak is fantastic (I do believe that's his characterization in those panels).

It was Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente. Also the Ares miniseries is fucken awesome and also leads into the awesome Secret Warriors. Man I would love them to make that series into a movie.

well why not posted:

Dinklage could also be voicing a predominantly CG character.

There's no way to say this without sounding like some sort of rear end in a top hat, but usually when Hollywood casts a midget, it's because they want a midget on screen.

Long Live The King!

Latino Review is saying that Jason Momoa is the pick for Drax. That's pretty spot on as far as I'm concerned. I didn't care much for Conan, but he wasn't the problem in it.

Solid pick in the void of the Rock. I like him and enjoyed Conan. At first I thought you meant Conan O'Brien for some reason and I thought that was even better.

Dinklage is pretty hot poo poo right now. If anybody's going to shake off that kind of stigma it's going to be him.

It's basically a costumed political drama/actor's showcase/tits, dragons, and zombies. It really isn't that complicated.

Vlaada is my co-pilot.

Is that really official? It's literally the old trilogy costume, down to the texture on the suit. Seems way more likely that's a fan poster.

EDIT: Welp, that is an official image. Really bizarre they literally copied the old movie costume.

The eye piece is consistent with what Marc Webb has tweeted photos of. http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=36614

If it has a belt and no silver slippers it's perfect. Should have used it from the start instead of that basketball textured monstrosity from the first one.

Good looking costume though.

They're filming the sequel right now for a 2014 release.

Meanwhile, take a look at what Stark is wearing here.

And apparently Tony Stark is what will lead to Peter Weyland's obsession with immortality.

This song from Ravenous is still one of my favorite song-moments in any movie, primarily because this oddly cheery song plays when Boyd is close to dead and trudging across a bleak snowscape, hoping to return to town after everyone has died horribly and he has eaten one of them to survive and despite it seeming so out of place somehow fits perfectly.
