You can upload stuff to imgur from a URL.

I saw a Tesla Model S on the way to work today - I think it's a cool looking car but I can't fathom buying a $60k car that you can only drive 300 miles before needing to plug it in again. The cool thing is you can plug it in to any outlet!

As an only car, it's not really ideal, but think about how many times you get in your car and drive less than 300 miles. I would absolutely drive this every day if I could.

I'm in the same boat. I'd love an electric car for daily commuting.
However most end up being very expensive or the Mitsubishi iMev or whatever. I'd like a middle ground somewhere.

I think they're pretty drat cool as well, just not quite $60K cool. Personally I think it would be really cool all these electrics had a high-voltage port for little trailers you could hook up with a generator inside for longer trips. Hell, you could rent them from U-haul or some poo poo. What a hoot.

Also, we have an AI good here that works for Tesla now. Says he got an offer letter from Elon Musk himself. Not sure what exactly he's doing for them though.

Holy shitballs what a fun collection, here in St. Louis we really just don't get to see this kind of stuff at all. I'd be fogging the windows as well.

Hoping someone can help, trying to find this picture to use as my background (3840x1080) without the rainscreen stuff on the right side (this picture itself is a screencap of someone's setup and I just want the picture).

Anyone even know what vehicle this is? Toyota car with what I think look like a couple wastegates and an 'r32V' stamp on the motor. So a twin turbo class that's obviously not based off a street car. GT?

Fullres here.

Edit: Vehicle is the Group C prepped Toyota 88C. Still looking for this picture though.

Edit2: Found the high resolution source picture!

That's actually just a really good 3D render. They didn't put any displacement on the ground texture, didn't tile it very well and the jacks are pretty weak, but overall it's hard to tell without looking closely at the full res.

EDIT: Also, the wing is pretty raw. Terrible surfacing on the top part, and it doesn't even look like they relaxed the normals on the bottom of the wing - it's still straight-up polygonal.

Yes. And more. Everything is gutted right down to the doors (note that painter's tape is holding the doors shut..)

This is the infamous Elise of "Perry" from the Lotus Talk forums. I think he's since sold it but his intention was to make a 2-Eleven kind of car.

I'm not sure if the dimple-cut rear brace behind the engine is factory but I know the remote-reservoir dampers tied to the cage sure aren't.
