I'm going backwards through the archives and I just got to the HBO sponsored eps and they're great. I don't understand why they wouldn't do some rudimentary editing and put it online. How many people here wouldn't put up a couple of bucks to see a few episode length videos?

This weeks episode was incredible. Both dudes were totally on point, and Jonathan was especially quick with jokes. One of my new favorite episodes for sure.

He's mentioned his actual name before. Early in the show, Seth mentioned how he used to record almost everything he watched on VHS, so that's probably where it all comes from.

It's funny listening to this now. People gave Jonathan a lot of poo poo for using homophobic slurs (rightfully) but Seth threw around "fruit" as a slur in 2006 pretty liberally. Weird.

I think they've both come quite a way in the seven years or so, as a lot of us have. I'm not one to judge what is and isn't a slur, but I think any time that Seth has used that word it's been in jest, or making fun of people who actually say that. Which is on par for almost every other time they've crossed the line in terms of that kind of language. Jonathan has crossed the line a couple times in questionable ways, but I think it's always been clear that both guys have never meant it in any kind of a hateful manner. If anything, it was out of ignorance, or just going to far in trying to make a joke. Didn't they actually touch on that this week, a bit?

Seth and Jonathon both say fruit un-ironically a lot early in the show, then people evidently complained about it and they stopped. It was a lot longer in the show until Jonathon stopped saying human being though. They were never joking when using homophobic slurs throughout the show but like dvorak said it was out of ignorance and not hate. They're both cool on that front now.
