Both are sad and hilarious in their own way, so there's no wrong answer here.

I've finished listening to it and the thing is that I still don't know. And neither did anyone reading. In the outro they admitted that they didn't know what the hell was going on.

I don't know what it was though but the jokes were amazing this time around. Like above and beyond the usual sarcasm, they were making jokes and it just kept going.

A new episode dropped a few hours ago: Episode 107: Trash At Demonhead. I honestly don't know who is crazier, the people who convince themselves they are married to a Norse god or the guy who thought up a series of Mario themed karaoke games focused around Dolly Partin songs.

They're good Australian bands, that's about on the level of mediocre non-Australian bands.

Haven't listened to the episode yet, but I actually wanted to construct something similar out of the Pikmin Fanon Wiki. Mainly because the fact there's a 2000+ page wiki devoted to people making up fake Pikmin games, of all things, amuses me.

Just wanted to drop in to share my discovery.

I was going back through the catalogue and got to podcast 48 with the terrible OkCupid profiles. The guy who posted the 7th profile, BVegas1982 was pretty crazy. It was the guy who said that he killed several people in combat and had gotten fired from the army for practising "free speech." Lemon also asked if he was "competing in the Most Sociopathic F Plus Subject Olympics." This made me go to the website because I wanted to see if you guys had missed anything of note in his profile.

And well, he's (they've?) updated it:

That's just...that's just great.

I hope they met because of you guys.

Dude's a fuckin' pogue, he ain't never shot nobody. We can smell our own.

As it happens, I was in South Korea in 2001 and OIF in 2003 and he's got the pogue chub going big time. His Korea picture's way zoomed out and tiny and he's not wearing his DCU blouse in his OIF picture so you can't see his unit patch. Also those pogue-rear end wire-frame sunglasses, gimme a break.

Even if he was 11 series, I guarantee you he was the smug barely-passing-his-PT-test shitbag nobody liked.

The only one I couldn't find through a quick google was 11 series and that took me only a slightly more in-depth google.

But, for reference: pogue is someone in a non-combatant position, OIF is Operation Iraqi Freedom, DCU is the desert camo uniform, 11 series means infantry.

Basically the guy probably sat behind a desk all day.

I'll be 32 in a few weeks. Not that old, but old enough to remember seeing the Nintendo cereal commercial firsthand. Also eating it. As I recall, it had the texture of Cap'n Crunch, but more airy and flavored like Froot Loops. Also it was shaped like Mario and Zelda things in that same extremely vague way that they shape fruit snacks and Spaghetti-Os like things.

Considering The FPlus is an outgrowth of the Portal of Evil, which was a big thing around 2000 or so, I'd guess that most of the ridiculists are around thirty.

Also, new episode featuring whyihatepeople.com.

There's a new episode out now about a role-playing forum called Chicken Smoothie. Role-playing is not, so far as I know, the main feature of the site, something about adoptable neopets-type stuff? Anyway, stupid role-playing characters and premises. Go listen.

I spent years roleplaying various superpowered characters on an MMO, around a lot of people that used it entirley for sex. And even I look down on these guys.

Yeah, roleplayers are, predictably, my favorite subject for mockery. It's like a box of assorted chocolates, there's so many varying, beautiful flavors of terrible, you don't entirely know what you're gonna get at first, and they all go past quick enough that you don't get tired of them.

I'm not sure what type of roleplayer's the equivalent of that weird esoteric flavor in assorted chocolates that nobody wants, though. Would that be that one old lady furry roleplayer from the MUD episode?

Yea no lie F-Plus was one of the things I used to dive into when I was having especially low days with my depression (and still do even now that it's better managed), I guess it's a blend of being legitimately funny and kinda showing me I could be way worse in life.
