Is this an actual thing? I'm sure it tastes awful, but wouldn't it also make the coffee you make after taste vaguely of lovely chicken soup? (I have no idea how a Keurig works)

Yes, it's real (or, will be soon, don't think it's in stores yet.) In theory there won't be any "cross-contamination." As said, the hot water runs through the K-Cups that are disposed of, it doesn't sit and brew in a re-usable part of the brewer like a regular drip-maker. However, anyone who has used a Keurig (or a Kermit...) knows that it never works perfectly, and coffee grounds escape into the little area the K-Cup sits in. And yes, I've had coffee grounds get into my tea, and other such stuff. So I can easily see getting some coffee in your soup and soup in your coffee.

You're supposed to run a hot water cycle (no K-cup) to clean out any "leftovers" before switching to another type of drink. It basically sterilizes it with hot water and does a good job of cleaning it out. i.e do it before making stuff like Chai Tea or Hot Chocolate to avoid adding a coffee undertone to those flavors.

It would be wrong of me not to link some more of this artist's work (I went to school with the guy, he is 20). All can be obtained for as little as £5 on his ebay, which is largely filled with pornographic crayon drawings.

I think it's in the section where they talk about how the owners set the tension to allow a possible winner ~1 out of 10 times. Bored has a new favorite as of 20:24 on Sep 17, 2013 |

That's certainly an interesting decision of what to censor with stars and what to leave out in the harsh light.
