More accurately you do dungeons by running past large groups of trash and pulling single strong monsters out of groups to fight them individually around corners.

Just so you don't get the wrong idea, Shale isn't totally exaggerating. In any half decent dungeon group you'll likely skip most of the trash mobs in a dungeon, not because they're hard but because they aren't especially fun to fight and skipping past trash happens to be super fast and easy. Also the single pulling happens, but I can only think of one instance off the top of my head and that's one of the dungeon paths in Sorrow's Embrace there are three golems who are usually single pulled because they can be pretty hard to fight at the same time if you don't have a lot of projectile reflection.

Fighting in dungeons isn't a whole lot different than fighting outside of dungeons, there are usually just a few more gimmicks thrown into some of the fights.

I've crafted two characters and it was still tedious. I would have rather just given them $10-20 for some instant satisfaction.

They've shown some willingness with the 1-20 scrolls, now just monetize that all the way.

I would seriously and unapologetically drop money to instantly level up a dude. I thought Guild Wars 1 was neat in that you could get to max level really fast and have the rest of the world to play in. I wish GW2 had stuck with that formula because there's little variation in play from Level 30 to 80.

I'd argue that the experience is actually significantly better if you craft a character to 80, then go around and see any part of the world you'd like. You're unrestricted by level caps, you're free to roam around and go where events take you, you don't have to worry about keeping your gear up to date and you have the full range of builds and gameplay available to your character. For those who want a traditional RPG experience, going through zones in a linear fashion and doing your personal story quest at 80 is virtually unchanged from doing it while leveling, in fact it's better because you don't have to grind between each step, you just have to go there.

I really can't think of a single downside if they made it so you hit level 80 in your second zone - in fact they could even improve the world by making more of it relevant and challenging at max level.

Yeah but farming the same 5 champions for 80 levels isn't exactly compelling gameplay though. In fact the queensdale champ train is symptomatic of the bad things about having 80 levels, in a game where the levels are basically irrelevant.

• Ascended material refinement recipes are unlocked at a rating of 450 to craft.

• Ascended armor recipes are available for purchase at all master craftsmen and laurel vendors and require a rating of 500 to craft.
• Crafting discoveries for exotic armor have been reset to allow for rediscovery that gives bonus experience and facilitates leveling to a rating of 500.
• The collection in the bank that holds ascended crafting materials has been expanded to hold new materials.

Changes to Legendary Weapons
• Journals for precursor weapons can now drop anywhere precursor weapons can currently be found. These journals serve as recipes to craft precursor weapons.
• Players will now receive a unique book upon completing a legendary weapon telling the personal story of its creation.
• Players who have already crafted a legendary weapon will receive a book telling the story of its completion in the mail. Players who have sold their legendary weapons will still receive a book.
• Precursor weapon drop rates have been slightly increased.

Structured Player vs. Player
• Shards of Legend now drop from Rank Reward Chests, Match Win Reward Chests and Daily PvP Reward Chests.
• Shard collectors have been added to the Heart of the Mist near the glory vendors. These vendors accept Shards of Legend for legendary PvP weapons and other rare items.

BLACK LION TRADING COMPANY GEM STORE
New Items and Promotions

• The Ascalonian-Leader Finisher is now available in the Upgrades category for 600 gems. This finisher creates a ghostly captain who commands a phantom army to trample your opponents in PvP and WvW.
• The Cute-Quaggan Finisher is now available in the Upgrades category for 700 gems. This finisher creates a pink quaggan who delivers fatal cuteness from atop a geyser of water to your opponents in PvP and WvW.
• The Skritt-Scavenger Finisher is now available in the Upgrades category for 500 gems. This finisher creates a skritt thief who rifles through your opponent’s pockets in PvP and WvW.

It's a bug that happens occasionally, especially when a lot of poo poo is happening on screen. That pose is the default character pose games use for like debugging or something. It comes up a lot on developer model notes.
