I'd bet most british people couldn't fill that in accurately. I'd have everything around Yorkshire and London done, with 'the south' filling up everything between Derbyshire and France

The better challenge would be to have Americans fill in the states without cheating. You'd get Texas, California, and Florida filled in by most, followed by "wow you can't even locate your own state on a map."

Even in the US, people only really seem to care about counties when it's city people being smug about the hicks over the border, so go more than two from home and who knows what the hell any of it is.

Yeah. I was thinking at first "Wow, some of these people did pretty good!" Then I saw it was Brits who filled out the maps and I felt :smith: again.

Lots of counties have the same name don't they? Orange, Cook, Dale, Will. I bet a lot get used once per state.

I actually could do it with in a few minutes. Then again I work with insurance products with in a major nationwide firm so I have to look up state laws and licensing information pretty much daily all of which comes from clicking on states on a map.

I cannot even point to the county I grew up in with 100% certainty (Maps were never my thing and I navigate by motorways anyway - M4 = the south west) but it should basically be (in order of importance):

London
Rest of the South of England
"The North"
Scotland
Wales
Ireland

Missed that county, yeah. That's England.

Wales always throws me off, I can never remember if they actually exist in our universe, or in a parallel universe without vowels.

I'm that guy who is kind of a geography nerd, though. I memorized all the US states and their postal abbreviations back in school. Now I work at UPS, so something I learned is getting used in everdyay life!
