It was quite a loving thing. We'd partner up on Nosehair TDM and see who could rack up more pet weapon kills, his 1911 vs. my scoped XBOW.

How does one promote a squad in the commander app? I thought I was doing it the whole match but at the end under the loyalty tab it said I did it zero times. Did way better than the enemy commander in all regards except that one. He knew how to do it and I didn't  I tried dragging the icon to the squad icons on the right as well as tapping it and the squad icons but apparently neither worked.

You dont need to select the squad before you promote them, you just need to find the leader (the star) and dump it on them. They do have the squad name appear next to them.

GG tonight and I apologize for my mic issues - I took the Bone to my parents' for Christmas but neglected to bring the Kinect as it's bulky and useless. I was able to get my headset to work after turning Kinect prompts off in the menu.

Is Spec Ops bugged? Squad has greater then lvl 2 perks, yet it doesn't give the 6 c4. This is on the PS4.

So since locker has become who can cheese more, I decided that I am in love with an assault grenadier with [primary/secondary guns don't matter] the m320 LVG and v40 mini grenades. ABG - always be grenadining. Minis are drat near broken and the LVG is great around the corners.

Since I'm just starting out I haven't unlocked many things yet but I read this thread and have taken to becoming an at-5 mine laying whore. There's some maps where armor always comes in to capture the point and last night I got way too many kills by loading the roads up with mines. I even let a tank chase me right into the mines I just laid. If I lay minds in the shallows of paracel storm will they kill boats? How long do they stick around after I die? It seems like a long time but sometimes I'll die and watch a tank drive over my mines and nothing happens. This seems like a good way to unlock the slams, c4 and other goodies?

 SLAMS. You can effectively limit murderboats to A and D on Hainan Resort with them just by placing them under bridges. And rack up sweet sweet multikills the entire map.

So what is the new hotness in carbine usage? For the longest time I went with the AK 5, then the G36C. I recently unlocked the 95B and that thing seems to not move at all, even at full auto. Also, anyone have any hints for getting good at sniping? Only point-based unlocks I still need are pistol and sniper rifle, but for the life of me I can't do anything with a sniper rifle. I've been using the M40A5 since that's the only one I have straight pull up on, but I can't get enough headshots to kill anyone, and when it's not a headshot dudes tend to just run away.

^^^ conversely you could use my terrible method of being "that guy" and run around with an iron sight sniper rifle fighting point blank. If you don't get the kill completely one shot, usually it's 95 health damage and you will get assist as kill which is good enough. Once you unlock the range finder on the scope it gets much much easier. Also, unless you know the guy is hurt, aim high if you think he'll just run if he gets hit and doesn't die. Missing sounds just as good as hitting if they just run. And if you do hit, you'll probably get a headshot aiming high. And for carbines I like the ACE 52 CQB. Oh my god. Jesus Christ going from ps3 to ps4 is indescribable. The fluidity, the smoothness. The sound of dozens of sniper shots missing you instead of only a couple. I could never go back. I never would have thought the difference was this substantial.

The best way to play fartlocker is to use smoke grenades and FLIR/IRNV for the five minutes it takes to pubbies to catch on. Bonus if you slap a suppressor on and remove the light based weapon attachments. Since most pubbies hide back in their caves during the map, it lets you rack up kills on prone snipers who don't know what the gently caress and people who wander into your smoke thinking they're safe. Eventually the pubbies catch on and it's not as fun.
