Considering there's a glitch out there that sometimes shows you more exp than you really earned at the end of the round which leads to you leveling up but you don't actually level up, I think it's related to multiple boosts in a game. I expect boosts work as intended, but for the 'total points boosted' it multiples it by the current boost you have active, even if you were in a different one for the beginning of the match.

Is there any tips for grinding out new pistols? I'm using my trusty tricked out P226 and I proactively switch to the drat thing constantly, hell its my gun with my third most kills (4th being C4) and yet I just barely now unlocked the mp443. I play conquest large mostly and I'm terrible at the game so that's probably part of it. But I do try to cap flags like a mad man.

Hardcore mode, team deathmatch or domination. I prefer domination as it tends to funnel people to specific areas. Have your perks set to defensive so you get the armour boost (gives you more of a chance of surviving a face off). Rock a laser and get used to hip-firing into ads, because you're gonna either need to get the drop on people or start firing first. And if it's just unlocking new guns rather than the attachments you're after, use your boosts. I find upping my sensitivity also helps to get used to being real twitchy. Keep sprinting to a minimum unless out in the open, helps not to rush into a firefight, and where possible keep to close in environments. If you don't often do pistols only type gameplay, might take a while to get used to, but give it an hour or two and you'll be a twitchy as gently caress pistolero. This game might be slightly less forgiving than BF3, but you can still hold your own with a pistol.

I like using the REX with a delta RDS + muzzle brake. Makes sniping chumps from mid to long range a sport. Usually takes 2-3 shots.

You know what I just figured out? If you're the side passenger in a little bird you can select your AT-5 mines and lay them. They end up on the ground rigged to go exactly where the little bird was flying over. So if you watch the mini map you can put them on roads and such that you're actually a few hundred feet above. I am such a little bird whore. I spot like crazy for whoever a flying and run out of ammo shooting guys at close range.

I had an interesting I finally tried Air Superiority too since I was afraid to before since I'm poo poo at flying. It actually wasn't too bad. Now if I can learn how to shake ~* ace pilots *~, I might stand a better chance. The highlight though was when playing Obliteration and listening to these two clan clowns in my squad argue with one another over who was better at the game, who was tougher IRL, and who made more money and was more successful. This very stupid e-peen waiving contest went on for over three entire rounds and I wish I could have recorded all of it. I was extremely close to calling them both faggots and to kiss and make up already but it was already 3 in the morning and didn't want to wake anyone up. Never change, XBox Live.
