Trying out GoonCam to make some GIFs from the show Departures.

The two URLs in the OP are both "upload photos and we'll make them into gifs for you".

Does anyone happen to remember the name of the software that was goon-made (I think?) where you just put all the images into a directory and ran it and it stitched them together?
I'm working on a sort of project and want to make HUGE gifs.

This is what I'm talking about, only I want to make them huge-er and CS5 craps out on me when I try to get them bigger:

http://gfycat.com/HonestPossibleHypsilophodon
http://gfycat.com/TameEvilHochstettersfrog
http://gfycat.com/IdenticalMajorEland

and my favorite one ...
http://gfycat.com/KeenShyBlackmamba

Bonus with this URL, if you mouse over the image on the bottom right will be a little red tab, mouse over the tab and you can pause/reverse and frame-by-frame.

Been a long time since I made GIFs. Does GoonCam have a way to crop a picture after recording? Currently I am using VirtualDub to crop if I don't have ability to re-record.

Hmm. Can picture it - I know I've watched it in the last week or so, so somewhere in seasons 1 or 2. Gonna check a sketch list - may take a bit but I'll see if I can find it.

Doing some work right now (As you can tell by my reading threads.), but will get to this later if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

Funny thing re-watching these lately. Scenes that I hated when they aired are just killing me. "Coupon : The Movie" included. I remember thinking it was dumb as Hell at the time, but it had me rolling last week. And the shot you're asking for? I actually re-watched a few times thinking "Huh. That's a shot you don't see often." I mean, it's not exactly going to be called for very often, but it is pretty drat original.

Edit:

Honey... guess what. I got you some socks!

Oh man, different thing, but I was there (in person) for the last of BattleBots. The superheavy weight championship match busted a couple of the lexan side panels out of their frames, and in the rumble (when they had all the bots out), one of Nightmare's teeth sheered off, flew through the ceiling of the box, and landed somewhere behind the audience.

The next year, after BB was canceled, some of the people involved in that stuff started "ant-weights", so we went from 200-pound behemoths made of precision parts to 150 gram toys, some of which were literally cardboard and duck tape.

A funny thing about those robot battle shows is that Jamie from Mythbusters used to do them but got banned because his robot was the perfect killing machine. I believe how it worked was that it would spin really fast and slam into other robots, shredding them. It was also unsafe for the audience because it caused parts to go flying everywhere.

That's only really partially true, he was asked not to compete with it twice because it did too much collateral damage to the arena and by the time the sport really developed and had arenas strong enough for it other bots had caught up and it ended up losing all of its matches. He did basically invent that type of robot with the spinning blade though and tons of other people have copied that design and improved on it.
