Quick message to keep you updated, I'm so proud to let you know that within a few days you really have made a huge contribution!

As of 26th December 2013 you have raised 4,152.08 GBP. You can honestly say you have put a few Grand his way to help Ashley take his first steps in his new life.
If it was not for the many precious 1.00 contributions, I could not say "a few Grand."
If it was not for those who outrageously chipped in larger numbers, I certainly could not say "a few Grand."
All of your contributions large, small and everything in between made it a massive difference!
The prosthesis is over 20k, with these donations received so far you have chipped off a big chunk of worry and stress and shown much support.

If you chipped in, walk proud with your head held high knowing you really have done good, leave the fund button now for those who have not seen the video yet, they can contribute if they feel they want to.

I have a lot of thank you's to do, but very few of you put your screen name on the form! Lol, But, I do now have your personal email and home address, even if it takes a while, perhaps we can thank some of you properly and personally in the near future.
Bear with us, Hopefully we can start 2014 as we mean to go on.

The figures and final outcome will be made public as so you can see exactly where your contributions went and what pure good was achieved.

Sincere kindness goes out to you all, even if you just gave a few kind words of encouragement on the video, that was very much appreciated.

On behalf of Ashley and his family. Its a very big thank you.

The stuff he builds is amazing, but in the last two decades there's so many guys putting out crazy poo poo it's not as impressive as, say, when Rad Rides by Troy was dropping his twin turbo beasts on guys with 1,000hp. 500hp in a show car was crazy then.

No, what's amazing about NRE is they've been around for awhile now, have a metric fuckton of poo poo out in the world, and I haven't heard one word negative about them. Ever.

That's incredible in the tuner world.

His poo poo is over-engineered in an artful and simple way, that's why I like his stuff so much. Plus that mirror image turbo gimmick is hilarious.

I don't know if this is true, but with how over-engineered they are, and the way build the dual-fuel systems to run mostly on pump gas, I imagine that a car with an NRE engine is one you might actually be able to live with every day.

Until it killed you, that is.

That's a hell of a thing for a 2000 hp drag car.

I'd love to do something like that, but unfortunately railroads in this area have rather too many road crossings and the like to worry about, especially since some of them have been paved over. Add to that all of the abandoned lines that have been turned into bike paths, and you haven't got a whole lot of good options for this sort of thing.

I saw a video a few years back of people doing something similar somewhere in South Asia (I wanna say Vietnam, but I could be wrong). They'd ride along abandoned railways in homemade cars they built themselves, powered by little moped engines. They could be disassembled in a minute or two in case they came across others going the opposite direction; the heavier-loaded would get right of way.

Can't find it right now, but it was cool as poo poo. All the tracks were clear enough to ride on, but with trees overgrown so they'd be riding through these green tunnels of foliage, and ground cover between the rails. Surreal as hell.

That's some bold claims there which I'm sure if you do a bit of digging you'll find don't always stack up. It's one thing to put videos of dyno runs netting big hp on 13:1 tunes, it's another to have customers take said engines out into the real world, find they either didn't get what they paid for, don't run the numbers claimed or if they do, break.

Eg. http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=356558&highlight=nelson+race+engines

The recent spate of Canadian Tire ads are pretty good. The guy who headlines them is sort of a fixture in Canadian ads (Tim Hortons, etc) but I think they're pretty funny compared to the old Canadian Tire ads that basically had a Canadian version of Bob Vila (and later his wife/beard) ambushing his neighbors with the latest amazing thing he got from CTC.

I have never spent as much time in a Canadian Tire as I have in the last two years. Either they're doing something right (unlikely) or now that I've bought a house I'm turning into my dad (more likely).
