Ceyton posted:Looks like it. Biggest improvement from last year is 3 points, and most players got 0 or 1. From my earlier post: What bothers me, is that I think there is a "special formula" of stats where it allows people to progress evenly, which I suspect there was in the NCAA Football games when I did them. I say that, because Matt Mahalak is a goalie for Kingston. He was drafted by Los Angeles in the 3rd Round of the 2014 draft. I just checked the rosters I used to start this off, and he starts at 55 OVR with a 4-star Yellow potential. After his first season in the Kings system, he is up to 82 OVR. While our goalies were barely touched. Regular pre-made rookies have normal progression. But, when I created players in NCAA football and did something similar to this, some of them did not progress normally. Which makes me thing that certain attributes need to be in a certain range so they progress properly. In NCAA, the magic attribute was Awareness. If it was low, it would increase over time. But not in NHL, I haven't noticed any change in progression with low or high Off/Def Awareness. Also, I don't know what changed between this year and last year, but none of the created goons are showing up as rookies in this game, which may have something to do with broken progression as well. Before I started updates and stuff, I ran a couple test seasons to make sure people were in the right draft classes, had the right ages and stuff, but I couldn't do anything to get people to show up as rookies.

I am taking control of <redacted> and basically setting them on auto-pilot. The game does not let me make players 16, unlike last year. I think you can start at age 16 in actual BeAPro. Once you hit 20 in BeAGM, you are done in the CHL, and are sent to the AHL instead. In BeAPro, you can be 99 OVR with 899 goals and 2000 assists in a season, but if you sim 4 games in a row, you get sent down to wherever. It's dumb.

Well, in my research, I think I may have figured out how to properly have Created Players show up as rookies. I tested it for placing them directly onto an NHL team, and have them be 18 years old. 1) Edit CHL goon's birth year to 1995 while on CHL team 2) Move player onto NHL team 3) Start a new BeAGM to check to see if player is rookie. 4) Exit BeAGM because they are not a rookie. 5) Edit player's birth year to 1986. 6) Edit player's birth year to 1995. 7) Start a new BeAGM to check to see if player is rookie. 8) See they are. 9) Die. scud, I expect a check in the mail from EA for beta-testing this game. You already have my address. Thanks
