Does sugar glass shatter like that? I thought it broke into shards like plain glass. It looks like tempered glass, perhaps shattered by a pick on the hat or knee or something.

I'm not sure what type of glass it is, but the guy is Rob Dyrdek from Fantasy Factory, so it's most certainly fake. He does a lot of dumb things, like tattooing a giant M for Monster Energy drinks on his back.

This video plays it in slow motion. It looks like some charge broken the glass before he touched it. If you look in the upper right corner of the glass you can see little specs of something flying away and a little puff of smoke.

I think it is tempered glass though.

Elysium looks awesome in gifs. Too bad it was horrible.

I liked the visual aspect of elysium. It had some genuinely cool effects, and the worn out, trashy look of everything is pretty much exactly what I suspect our future is going to be like.
