Hell, Shora even makes a specific point that he doesn't see his sister that way because a) he's her sister and b) she's "like 11". Like, to avoid dumb poo poo in a VN I'd have to hold CTRL for 20 seconds every 2-10 hours and it's usually really obvious when something retarded is about to happen, but for avoiding dumb poo poo in a light novel adaptation with particularly bad content I'd have to click around a bunch to fast forward multiple times an episode, and even then you'd have random pantyshots or cameltoe or dumb camera angles all over the place. That's most of the reason why I can stand reading 18+ visual novels but light novel adaptations drive me up the wall.

We just got through a season with Kill la Kill which was skeeve levels to the max, it's kind of funny how basically the same thing is happening but with different reactions because it's not made by Trigger. I don't think anyone is saying Kill la Kill wasn't skeevy there, and people by and large were pretty grossed as poo poo out about that! I think the reason people are making a big deal about this here, and now, because this is a thread about the Spring 2014 anime season and not the Kill la Kill thread where people made a rather big deal about how skeevy that poo poo was when it happened. And that the thing you're referring to happened like two dozen episodes in and wasn't the core focus of the entire show, where as No Game No Life has this poo poo built in from its very foundation so, you know, it's kind of like "wait, why are you watching this again?" But yes let's make yet another dumb thread be about Kill la Kill's weirdness I am sure that will be great!!

One of the things I like about ADTRW is that it doesn't seem have nearly as many creeps and paedos as other places where anime is discussed. There are some though, and it's hilarious to see embarrassed siscons falling over themselves to justify watching a gross show. In better news, apparently the new Yoshiura film, Patema Inverted, is being released on DVD tomorrow in Japan. Apparently it's been licensed for other countries as well, but I can't see anything concrete about that. I'm pissed that I didn't get to see it in the cinema last year.
