There wont be a KH3 demo. At most we will get another trailer. We will probably get. FFXV demo and a release quarter.

I guess that was the cost of rebuilding KH1 code-- less time to work on KH3. But maybe Nomura will surprise us yet.

I'm honestly waiting for 2.5HD release date. KH3 is so far off the bed I can hope for is a trailer, meanwhile 2.5 will be something physical I can ride myself over with.

Didn't some interview a while back say that both games were developing pretty rapidly?

Jesus I mean look how LONG it took them just to release a proper PC port of FFVII. Maybe we'll see a PC port of KH3 in like 30 years.

That I can see happening. A KH3 demo though? Considering the snail pace they take. Hell no. It looked bare bones the last time we saw it.

According to the article I read they said KHIII was coming out on PC but it may have been talking about FFXV ![]() Edit: I also can't wait for the 2.5 release date, especially since I'm sure it'll coincide with my starting Grad School ![]()

No Tarzan 2 though. Disney no longer has the rights to use Tarzan, which is a shame because I hold the unpopular opinion of enjoying the Deep Jungle level.

Calling it now, Nomura is going to surprise everyone by showing off the world based on such hit movies as The Black Hole, WWII Propaganda*, Atlantis and Robin Hood. By the time the presentation is done, everyone will be begging for Aghrabah and the Olympic Coliseum. *No joke, I would kill for a world based off of their old propaganda, with the background music being an orchestral version of Der Fuher's Face. It's as likely as a Wreck-it Ralph world or something based off of A Goofy movie because of all the uncomfortable racism, but I can dream damnit.

The massive delay since KHII will allow them to use Frozen, Wreck-It-Ralph and Tangled, which is nice. I'd like to see a full Sword in the Stone level, too.

I looked into it further and just FFXV is confirmed for PC release, I guess. Not a huge shock there. But I highly doubt KHIII will be on anything but PS4 and XBONE. Although I'm still surprised about it being on the XBone.

Square Enix really needs to negotiate with Dinsey about the anti-online distribution policy, because that policy is dumb, and also stupid.

Does that have something to do with why their online store is pretty much the worst piece of poo poo ever, and their customer service is even less helpful?

Hasn't every Kingdom Hearts game thus far used basically the same engine as the first game? I always figured that one of the reasons they took so long to make another console KH game after KH2 was because they didn't want to do all the time consuming engine-work that would be required to truly update it so they just stuck to handhelds when they could just use a slightly modified version. I don't know poo poo about technical stuff though so I could be wrong.

KH1 was practically a loving PS2 launch title. The code was so old that they actually couldn't find it for the HD version, which is why the game took so long to come out.

Replaying 3D is really making me appreciate that game. The battling is really engaging, Riku is a much more likable character and he doesn't give stupid speeches about his darkness and his light, Sora's super-optimism is really adorable, and the plot isn't crazy convoluted. The only really bad part is how the plot is sequenced. A series this convoluted should not tell the story through flashbacks. It's really hard to follow until you play it twice. And the rushed story-telling in most of the individual worlds. I never saw the Tron: Legacy, and I have no idea what the gently caress was going on in that world.
|

Riku's half of that world is really awful. Sora's is pretty easy to follow, though.

The Grid just feels weird because Sora's side tries to tie it in with Space Paranoids from 2 despite the fact that in story the two should have nothing really connecting them and Riku's side tries to tell the movie's story despite the fact you kind of need to know Tron 1's story and 2 didn't even bother with telling it. The Grid just feels really tacked on in a game where everything else is tacked on but in a way that kind of makes sense.

I'm hoping that Nomura realized what a clusterfuck the last portion of 3D is and makes an attempt to explain the plot holes in KH3. I've made a serious attempt to figure out exactly what was going on but there are still a bunch of things that are just ![]()
