Candy Crush is not a "bad game" if you're just looking to waste a few minutes without touching iap, hth.

Right. There. Yes, I fall in the latter group. I'm not proud to say that I'm around level 280 in CCS, but I'm damned if I'll touch anything else by King, and I feel the need to disclaim that I've "only" spent about 20 bucks total on CCS in over a year. Goddamnit, that's 20 bucks too much, but still it could be worse. I bet there are people out there dropping thousands on that godforsaken app.

Help me out here. There was a game about a year or so ago where you played as an alien monster, that was a mechanical snake thing and you added units to it and there was some wierd puzzle mechanic and you helped it along as it attacked cities in the US. I need to remember the name of it.

Candy Crush is a pretty fun match 3 game that had its hooks in me for a while but good luck getting past the later levels without IAP and/or weeks of blowing all your hearts on trying to get that one perfect drop you need.

That's a good plus. The unit abilities also require a bit more tapping and timing. There's no battle cats insanity though, for better or worse.

I went in without any foreknowledge of what the game was supposed to be (aside from being a WH40K fan), and I enjoyed it well enough. A little repetitive in terms of mechanics (to be expected) but there is a ton of content and unlockables. If you have any desire at all for it, you probably won't be disappointed, and it's definitely worth the reduced price in that case. It's a good way to kill time on long flights, too.

I at least find the POW system better than the Medal System from Battle Cats. Nothing was more infuriating than trying to upgrade a Silver to a Gold, getting nothing repeatedly, and then finally getting a Medal, only for it to be a Bronze. At least with POWs, levels can have varying "difficulty" to max out (i.e. you don't need 3 POWs for each level, like you do in Battle Cats), and you don't get to see the times you roll POW levels under the level you've already unlocked. It's not a huge difference, but it makes the grind less frustrating to me.
