I knew I didn't like AA anymore about a year after that trade when I was out with a friend who brought a main Jays beat guy along who told us that it was an open secret that Napoli was traded because they didn't want his wild-partying ways to badly influence the younger Jays players (Lawrie I assume?). AA believes in closer mentality and bad clubhouse guys.
