Getting the weirdest bug with KSP x64. If I try to timewarp my ship quickly comes back to 1x speed. From then on, I can't warp anymore because the ship is under acceleration. Worse still is that the ship starts wobbling and can't accelerate anymore. It's just frozen over Kerbin, rendering the game unplayable. If I timewarp on the surface (pre-launch) it works, but then the ship doesn't move anymore, no matter what the trust is. Anyone know what causes this? Maxmaps posted:Not today. A thing broke and we're fixing it. It's overtime for the code team. Thanks a bunch for letting us know. The pain of not knowing whether or not it would come out was unbearable.

And Maxmaps, don't worry about releasing tomorrow, or even this week. I'll be stuck at work and I'd like everyone to share in my suffering.

I've been getting this bug since shortly after .23.5 was released, and it was affecting me even when the only mod I had installed was Mechjeb. I've noticed it happens more often when I have klaws on my ship, so I'd wondered if it has something odd to do with that. Bugs like that are why I'm not going to do a forced-ironman mode.

FAQ is out. Not much new information other than the fact that the contracts are really...really moddable. You can add new agencies, new agency mentalities, new objective types, new contract types, agency interactions, all sorts of stuff. I want to take a look at that and hopefully double the contract type count, which is five at release. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/content/294-Kerbal-Space-Program-First-Contract-The-FAQ

Removing MechJeb solved the issue for me - at least at the launchpad I couldn't reproduce the bug. Thanks a bunch mate! A shame I had to remove MechJeb, since it was a dependency for some mod. Not sure which one, but we'll find out when I CTD and lose all my saves!

You misunderstand me, I'm making the same point as Splode and Psawhn; the text is a bit odd, but I prefer odd. The same way I love engrish from older Japanese NES and SNES games. Semi-random generation of content is extremely tricky, even more so to get it to produce ascetically pleasing content. Throw in the fact that it's dealing with language with all its assorted rules and things get weird fast. If the generator pushes out perfectly structured sentences that would make Timothy Zahn cry, that's great! If not, I'm going to read and enjoy it regardless. And I know Max has been to Duna, I just like giving him a hard time.

This patch launch is feeling more and more like a real rocket launch, you get so close then part of the countdown sets off an alarm and its back to the start of terminal count.

I don't really care to play it just as the patch goes up, I most likely have to wait several days to get the game at a playable state for me (FAR, editor tools, eve, remotetech, kethane, etc)

It's like a SpaceX launch. At T-15 we found an issue with a small but significant component, launch scrubbed until next month.
