Huh. Do they have two streams running in parallel this time? Whelp, more runs to watch later then, I guess...

Kenny touched on it, but yeah, "short" isn't really accurate at all. It runs almost the entire length of the con (starts Monday afternoon instead of Sunday), and there are some really cool games slotted in there. Jet Set Radio, a Ninja Gaiden block, TekWar, Tales of Symphonia, glitched FF7, and so on.

There's also a pair of open hours each day where anyone can pop over and run/play whatever they want. There may even be some YoCo.

ESA itself is a pretty chill affair, but the second stream is the even more laid back version of that.

e: sorry, the full game title is actually William Shatner's TekWar

Typing of the Dead: Overkill is, the original Typing of the Dead is not.

Neither is Typing Of The Dead 2 for that matter, since Overkill is actually the third game in the series.

Did a run of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for the first time tonight, ended up with a time of 1:27 something (Didn't count the exact seconds because it doesn't really matter since it should be pretty easy to improve).

Fun run, but I have no idea how to capture it without getting horrible overlay issues :v:

Poxnor washed his hands of it after a lot of back and forth since C4L2014 ended. It's not really fun or entertaining drama.

There will probably be another RPG speedrun event, it just won't be called C4L at his request. Also someone has to, y'know, step up and spearhead it, but it'll probably happen. Maybe.

After watching the Encyclopedia Bombastica Mega Man 2 entry, I thought that it might be time to rewatch a real Mega Man 2 run. But, for some reason the run that Cyghfer did at AGDQ2014 on youtube doesn't allow mobile streaming. I went to his youtube channel and found a more recent run... but that doesn't allow mobile streaming either!

Why would anyone restrict youtube videos from mobile? I don't get that.

The option to do so is often confused with the one for enabling monetization, as they're the same thing.

E. Other people's ads being forced on your videos disables mobile streaming too.

Nobody was close when Kale stopped running Boshy which was a few months ago or so. Witwix uses the same strats for the most part but is better at mashing I'd say so he gets through boss fights faster.

Everybody was basically miles behind Kale because the other people who ran the game did so sparingly. witiwix started running it and then got it on the SGDQ marathon and began grinding it furiously. He's been seconds from the record(s) for about two months now.

He improved his 100% PB by about 7 minutes yesterday to snag the record by about 30seconds. This is including dying on Solgryn and Cheetamen. If he got both of those first try (no small feet with Cheetahmen who are exceptionally hard for an exceptionally hard game) he can cut off 2-3 minutes probably.

My favorite thing about the iQue is that the controller is like a Dreamcast and N64 controller put together and is worse than both and he still plays OoT better than I do with a much better GC controller.
