The town had, in the final moments of the day, gathered around Rarity. Soon they were more a mob, demanding her head simply because some demagogues cried foul. "No," she shouted, "I am innocent, I swear!" But it was to no use; Rarity found herself at the edge of the chopping block. Suddenly Rarity shouted words in strange tongues; the learned in the crowd recognized them as the words to a spell! When she finished, the veil of anonymity was lifted, and all could see who Rarity really was: The Dark Princess, Zosia. In Arrentia, of course, it is illegal under any circumstances to take the life of a noblewoman, even if she is an usurping traitor. So, Zosia, still in magick-proof chains, was quickly locked away in a dungeon; when the conflict was resolved she would be given an actual trial by a jury of her peers.  Rarity, Princess Zosia, Court Vizier (self-aligned serial killer), was imprisoned in a dungeon Day 2. It is now Night 2. Submit your actions within 24 hours of this post.

The town awoke in mourning. During the night there had been an attack; a woman was found sprawled on the dirt of an alley, a large stone having smashed open her head. Blood pooled around her, dripping down nearby steps to the back room of a shop. But the scene itself was not nearly as horrific as the identity of the victim. It was Prendota herself, would-be Queen of Arrentia and beloved by all but traitors and usurpers. She was quickly rushed to the Saint Nevine's, the finest White Mage's guild in the Twelve Vales, but it was no use. She had been dead for hours. The city mourned. But their tears turned to anger, and anger to a lust for vengeance. Those who murdered Prendota, committing the highest crime - reginacide - must be brought to justice. Rascyc, Princess Prendota, Beloved (town-aligned mason recruiter), was assassinated night 2. Prendota's corpse was given the usual embalming spells and herbal wrappings, and placed safely in a special chamber, keeping it protected from environmental harms until the conflict is resolved. Also some peasant died. CapitalistPig, Asteres, Townsperson (town-aligned vanilla), was stabbed in the throat night 2. It is now Day 3.  With 15 alive it takes 8 votes to be executed. Day 3 deadline: Thursday, ~11PM EDT. That is in  less than two days from this post
