Task Manager: Sep 5, 2008; A weird time in which we are alive. We can travel anywhere we want, even to other planets. And for what? To sit day after day, declining in morale and hope.

Our game has rules and one of them in, the majority always wins ><. I suppose if you wish to, yes, you can still do Free Balling but I feel I have to say it is a poor idea. I wanted a word for that.. thing you did so that we can know what we mean without saying "that thing you did for the first time outside of Ibleam while fighting demon centipedes." That is long. Free Balling does not convey any information about what you did, but yes, you can still do it.

I can totally understand not wanting to post, "Do you wish to Free Ball your Balls?" every time a tough battle comes up. Beyond being funny, its not very practical.

I hope you won't mind if I continue to call it Free Balling in my own references to it, but practical is probably for the best here.

Diogines, can we get an opening bow shot off at the norc with the presence with one of our javelin-arrows or bronze arrows? On that note, do our Balls have enough javelins to lead with a skirmishing salvo prior to engaging in formation? Even if we can't kill the lead norc in this way, we may as well force him on the immediate defensive.

I had that as a summer reading book going into 7th grade. My mom read the first chapter and decided the teacher was crazy and that I didn't need to read it.

Your mom was objectively wrong. That book is awesome. I don't think anything in it was age in-appropriate for a 12 year old either. Some violence, a little nudity? The violence is not even all that bad. If anything, it puts a very real, personal face on war in a way that most tv shows and movies fail to translate, which is a good lesson for a child about the value of civilized society!

I had a "these books helped inspire the game" list last time.

Yeah, a book about Thermopoli did NOT inspire this game heh. Unrelated, I just brought it up since someone mentioned 300.
