No pictures, unfortunately, but a cute story: I went to Boston yesterday and as I was passing through the Boston Public Garden (made famous by the adorable Make Way for Ducklings) I saw a guy on a bench surrounded by what looked like a hundred or so pigeons and sparrows. A couple women walked by and the birds flew away, and I saw that he had a squirrel on the bench next to him and was feeding it seeds and nuts. When he ran out (giving the last one to the squirrel with a "here you go!") he got up and left, and the squirrel ran to the edge of the bench and leaned out, staring after him all wide-eyed. I stopped and reached into the box I was carrying and tore a small chunk off my pizza crust and the squirrel leapt off the bench and ran right up to me, stopping only a few inches from my foot. I dropped the crumb and he grabbed it and started nibbling away. City squirrels are totally not afraid of people at all and he probably would've taken it right out of my hand if I let him.
