Mak0rz posted:*peel-out sound* This has been termed "the funny car" in our house hold. Because the dog looks like a funny car as she peels around wiping her anus on our carpet.

I'm sorting my laundry so a lot of it is in the middle of my floor. I went and threw a load in the wash and came back to this He has a serious laundry fetish. I'm also compiling pics of him sleeping on his back. I'm up to about ten right now because it's so

Hi everyone. Daisy the Dog is back with more ears this is her "you have food" face: hard to tell from the photo, but she gets more tense as you get closer and closer to the last bite: e: oh i almost forgot, last friday everyone was out of the office except for me and the administrative assistant, so she brought her old lady dog with her to keep us company her name is allie and she's the sweetest whenever she picks up that rawhide stick behind her it looks like she has a fat ol' cigar in her mouth, never got a pic of it though Mak0rz fucked around with this message at 02:46 on Oct 12, 2014 |

I bought my pup a choke chain simply because I'm looking for the way of making his attire mismatch his unbelievably playful personality. If they had one with Duke Nukem blowing away aliens while looking at titties, that's the collar I would've gotten him. I never walk him on anything but the harness (the kind that clips on his chest). But can I use the choke chain in the following way to help leash train in addition to just walking with him on it? I've been painting at my aunts house all week in the evenings and taking Monty with me so I can feed him on time and such (obviously keeping him away from the paint fumes). He's a little explorer though. The door to the room I'm painting is glass. Can I leash him on his choke chain and anchor it to something? Will he eventually learn on his own to not pull on a leash? Or is my best bet a harness that clips on his chest (the theory being it effectively turns him away from whatever he is going after, giving him sort of a punishment for pulling). Or are puppies too dumb to stop doing something before they hurt themselves? I guess my basic question is are choke chains more effective at leash training than harnesses, and if so is there an effective way to use it without actually walking him with it. They are much more effective than harnesses. You position the choke chain at the base of the skull and it stops them from pulling with very little force. Harnesses aren't great because the dog can put all his weight/strength in to pulling. But tying him up with it won't teach him. Just have him on the leash around the house sometimes. Teach him to stay next to you. A slight tug on the choke collar the SECOND there is unwanted behavior is the best training.
