Typically they'll be a setup where one guy can get over to an unstoppable position and mow down other players in a deathmatch, or a capture where pickups are right next to the spawn and dropoff points for one team.

Has anyone who's playing on PS4 also played Midnight Club LA on PS3? I'd like to hear about how the 1st-person driving in GTA compares to the 1st-person in Midnight Club. I stopped playing MC:LA because after a certain point it became crushingly difficult. A lot of this (for me) turned out to be because the 3rd-person camera views don't let you read traffic very well because it's set low and you can't see over your car. Playing it in 1st-person, though, and the game is a lot more accessible. If 1st-person driving in GTA is similar I could really get behind it.

Whoever is Mein1Gott, I'm not sure if driving into the midst of 20 guys was the soundest of strategies (as proven by the fact we both got killed in seconds) on a Hard difficulty mission. My grenades did actually do a pretty drat good job thinning out the Ballas and Vagos, and I only needed to mop up a couple more guys. I could have used someone riding shotgun on the way back to Gerald, but oh well.

The only other thing I can think of is that you didn't have 250k to bet with? I do Midnight Club 2 PC with wheel and pedal a bunch for pleasure and while GTA here is as close as it gets compared to everything including The Crew, it feels "off". If I were to try to describe it; FP-racing in GTA feels like it's first-person racing in a third person action game with better than average work put into everything about vehicles, while in Midnight Club 2 PC it's open-world perfection of tastefully arcadey-controls, you can control your drifts and sliding if you lose grip. GTA5 (current gen) is terribly slippery and loose, much more so than GTA4 PC post-handling patches. Would race GTA5 with wheel and pedals if I had any that worked, if any at all do work.

That said, the timer reset on challenges 24 hours from when the last one was done or at midnight (or some specific rollover time?)

I don't know if it's the same across the board, but on PS3 bring up the start menu > online > crews > LLJK > view members, then pick someone from the list that's online and select "join session". You (could possibly) join their session. If it isn't full of goons, invite some more from the list. Or you can launch a job from online > jobs > host job, then invite people from the mission screen. On the PS4 main menu bar if you go to "Friends", and then there is a section called "In Game Sessions" which should have people in your friends list who are online, and the option to join them. I've never used it though, so I don't know if it works..?

The Dodo is terrifically fun. Being able to stand on the side of plane that can land on water? Yes please. We need to get some sort of dogfight going. You'd need either four or six people, two pilots, and at least one person on the side of each. Also is anyone up for making Super Princess Bubblegum the official crew uniform? You only need like $100k, which sounds like an unobtainable sum for someone at level 3 but if you're handheld by some high-level bros and brophinas you'll make it faster than you thought you could. Playing with goons and running missions is a good way to make cash. 10-20k per mission.

I'll run Blow It Up II with my tank on PS4 for anyone who wants to join in to rank up. It takes about 10 minutes total - you have to kill at least 200 cops and you get about 9200 RP and 20K in class. To compare, most missions don't pay more than 5k in RP. PSN - cashcamden99. I will be on tonight, after 8:30 est if anyone is interested. You will have to friend me since crew matching doesn't work.

Or have instances where you can't get into any car because you just stand there when you try but don't do anything. Or have all the players in the world freeze. Or any of that stuff. That boggles my mind. Because it seems to be happening to everyone. (PS4 Digital also) I haven't seen any of this on my end in single player or online so it can't be happening to everyone. I did replace the stock PS4 Hard Drive with a 1TB drive but the replacement is not a hybrid or SSD so I don't think HD access time is a real factor.
