Let's talk about stages. Right now I'm thinking something along these lines: banned for sure, because I don't like them: Pyrosphere (Ridley) Pac-Land (Really silly, and more importantly it unlocks through smash tour which i havent done enough of yet) Dr. Wily's Castle (yellow devil) Garden of Hope (gently caress that crab) possibly banned? let's discuss Palutena's Temple (extremely big, spikes in places) Great Cave Offensive (Also too big, and danger zones) Big Battlefield (kind of redundant with regular battlefield, and it's only 1v1) Gaur Plains (Big, dumb, Metal Face, although he's very passive) Gamer (the mom is too scary) Kalos Pokemon League (some of the Pokemon in the background do pretty crazy stuff, like turn you into metal, or send the platforms into the blast zone) Flat Zone X (those game & watch guys, and a tiny walk-off blast zone) Temple (it's just really big.) Arguably bannable because they're walk-offs, which are less good than others Coliseum Mario Circuit (the Brawl one, also has karts) Wii Fit Studio Wuhu Island (Also contains a glitch where some characters can be down throw'd into the boat while it's moving and immediately die) Yoshi's Island (Melee) Boxing Ring Mario Galaxy Bridge of Eldin (minor king bulbin hazard, but he does make a giant hole in the stage) Stages with minor hazards Norfair Onett (also a walk-off) Port Town Aero Dive Mushroom Kingdom U (remember, Nabbit can be mashed out of) Mario Circuit (hazards are really minor on this stage imo) Orbital Gate Assault (pretty easy to avoid) Halberd (extremely easy to avoid) Jungle Hijinks (the barrels can be kinda weird but i think it's ok) PilotWings (not exactly hazards, but the shape of the planes makes it really easy to camp) Everything else will be allowed. No custom stages of course. As far as my opinion goes, I think that the stages i listed in "possibly banned?" should be banned, but walk-offs should be allowed, even if they lead to dumb deaths.

I feel like Wuhu Island is probably ok since it's so similar to Isle Delfino. Onett might be ok but Port Town is a piece of poo poo and can die (the music can live)

Ban Walk Offs and large stages, since those promote camping and fleeing, keep hazards because those are awesome. EDIT: Also, Skyworld is a piece of poo poo, ban it.

Get rid of Kalos, the pokeballs in the background make me involuntarily act defensive for a few seconds before I realize that wait they're not in play Also Palutena's Temple is an excellent stage, but only for 5-8 player time/coin battles

Temple is a quality stage that isn't too big, same with Gaur Plains (metal face is more of a stage transformation than a hazard). Garden of Hope is a fun good stage too and the crab is avoidable. And seriously Gamer, that is like the most telegraphed hazard ever. I'm cool with all the minor hazards because come on this is a smash bros game. Also I'm alright with walk offs but I get why others aren't, also most of the walkoff stages just aren't very good so I wouldn't miss them.
