If I wasn't out if town, I would post so many pretty screenshots of my cities in 1404. So pretty.

mr. nobody posted:Thanks for the responses about Anno 2070/1404(Dawn of Discovery) Good choice. Anno 1404 is just so loving good. 2070 has some improvements, but it's ehh. Don't forget to install this: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2271596 It's an unofficial patch that fixes a ton of translation problems, shows you production chains, and adds unused quests and other poo poo. It doesn't change the gameplay really which is nice. PS: If you want, Anno 1404 Gold (Includes Venice) is $5 on the EU store so if you bug one of the EU gifters (ahem, Palpek), you can get it for a bit cheaper than $9 at the US store.

Anno 1404 also probably holds the title for the chillest game ever made. Set up a scenario with huge islands, lots of resources, no hostile enemies and just chill while you build up your cities. Some of the nicest npc's even ask you if they can settle other islands, and don't get offended if you refuse!

It's not so much that it's less hard as it's just far better balanced, so you're less likely to be stuck with completely horseshit stats/item loadouts that gently caress you over. No matter what, though, it's a vast improvement over the original Binding of Isaac and worth the price.

Yeah I was hoping there would be some kind of Chrome plugin to make un-listing and re-listing easier because I like to try and list it for a cent or two upswing in price and hope I get lucky. But then the market continues to go down and I have to relist it all again. I guess I'll just give up on that strategy. Is The Witcher 2 any better than the original? I thought the original was overrated Eastern European bargain bin garbage. It's $3 right now and the reviews are great. But if it's absolutely terrible like the first one, I'll pass.

They know what they're doing after all these years.

Goons and Goonettes. It's time for another round of "goons doing dumb rear end poo poo in Rookersh's jackbox" for the low low price of FREE. How you ask? It's simple! Go here http://www.hitbox.tv/seayonkers?key=pRwYAMsZ You should see my stream of the games. If you are lucky ( and fast ), you should see a room code featured somewhere on the game page. Take that room code, and put it in here http://jackbox.tv ( I swear it has nothing to do with food, or pornography. That's Rupert Buttermilk's game, not mine! ) Congratulations, you are now doing super dumb poo poo with goons. I'll be taking screenshots tonight, but perhaps Ragequit will post some of his from last nights shenanigans. Needless to say? It's total nonsense. To keep things fair/give all goons a chance to faff around, I'll be switching games regularly. We will be starting with Drawful, and moving on to Fibbage, alternating between the two every time I feel we need a bit of a shakeup. Oh, and I'll have a chat up here if you want to talk to your fellow artists. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/jackoffbox Join us! It'll keep going as long as I stay interested/sober ( probably about twoish hours ), and every game switch will kick everyone back out, giving new goons a chance to join in if they've been watching the streams.

Do I just install Steam on my new SSD and somehow tell it that the library is on the old HDD or is there some trick to getting it to work that I should know about?
