Oh, I'm looking. :captainpop:

edit: actually, while they're probably fake, the pastor at my local church informed me she has a tattoo in that spot.

It is a real thing. Last weekend there was a big organized protest at Mall of America w/r/t the police bullshit around the country. (None of the recent stuff was in the Twin Cities but it's a highly visible area.)

The thing is, MOA is private property. So there were police all over the place and half the mall was locked down because of it, people were being herded around and pushed out of the mall and arrested.

Who needs a house out in Hackensack? Is that all you get for your money?

It came out a lot choppier than I was expecting, even with the frame by frame edit, but I guess with the moving face in the original it kind of masks the hammer a bit.

de-index the colourspace first.

I don't know what that means. This is, like, the first time I've ever done this. I used an online youtube to gif maker and then split the gif into 118 frames and then edited each frame one by one in an image editor and then reuploaded the frames to a gif maker.

I don't have a program that does gifs on its own.

This sounds like the sort of poo poo I used to do. I've had multiple entries in photoshop friday that I did pixel by pixel in loving MSPaint

Do you have GIMP? I think that has more streamlined support for making and editing gifs.

Seriously, GIMP is a great free gif editing tool.

If a gif's colourspace is indexed, it can only display a certain number of discrete colours, plus 100% alpha (transparent). De-indexing (i.e. converting to RGB colourspace) removes this limitation and lets you blend things a lot more easily. Basically it's how you make your animated gifs look better. Also, remember to re-index your colourspace once you've finished editing, to reduce filesize.
