the terrible truth of mafia is that it requires a certain amount of horrible sperg to be good at it. if you act based on instinct or emotion it makes other people suspicious of you, which starts a chain reaction of infighting which lets the scum benefit from chaos.

Masons are (usually) town members, who have access to a google document outside the game to coordinate and discuss. I say usually, because they sometimes have scum in them from day 1 as moles. The masonry leader can also invite people to the document, but therefore run the risk of inviting scum, and thus having a chance of being infiltrated and destroyed from within by scum hijacking votes.

Well it is a game, I can't think of any games off the top of my head were playing based on instinct or emotion doesn't end in tears.

Where's Small Keating? I'd been ignoring him cause I thought he was just rushed in late and was an understandably confused town. But now he's been lurking around without saying anything about the whole situation. FS hasn't shown up either, but he did get in on time to cast a vote last night so I don't know if it's the same deal tonight.

Sorry was out in the sticks for NYE and have only just got back to internet now. I have read through the day 3 discussion and I am surprised we still haven't any concrete info from watchers or trackers. I guess small keating is one of those due to his role claim yesterday. Seems like he is going to stuff us over again by not posting today. I am going to read over it again and make a vote before deadline - but I will give my reasons

OK - I am sad to say it, but without lynching we actually have little information about people at the moment. We have only three confirmed townies, two of which are dead. Its a pity we didn't get to finish the lynch on Anidav yesterday. I agree with Bif that I have been too quiet during the days (I have been away from computer during the last two days). Though I hope that when I do post you do get to see my reasoning. I actually agree with Tith that Bif has been fairly eager to hammer anyone if a bandwagon gets going. I think her actions were suspicious - but not so much that it warranted an early lynching vote. Beets defence of Bif however was strident enough that if Tith is town - then I would suspect Bif and Beet are linked. I know Beet you asked her a question - but you are clever enough to put some distance between you two in the open. I am still happy with yesterdays Anidav vote - but that doesn't look like it's going to get up. I am going to vote Tithin because I believe we need the data ##vote Tithin

A rambunctious day of climate change talks with some analysts from the BoM was overshadowed by the accusatory yelling and fingerpointing regarding this mornings brutal and unorthodox murder. Not wanting to involve the police more, and owing to not many people actually liking Mills, his naked wet corpse was wrapped in a black plastic bag and dumped down the third floor garbage chute to taken away with the rest of the dumpster refuse mid morning. His possessions were scavenged by more capricious of the group.  After all, Daniel Morecombe demonstrated that kids can just got missing... especially interstate travellers. by rationale and probably outright lying Tithin copped the blame and the Mills vengeful spirit was with the Young Green congregation. Some of the momentum from yesterday carried on and Anidav was blamed, after all it was noticed the deceased and the unemployed Brisbanite butted heads. Bifauxnen also drew some ire with her reasoning. With venom and vitriol the group argued and finally Scotty 2 Hottie sided with the crowd. Titin was not someone representative of the Young Greens ethos. Tithin decried Bif as the real woe but it was not enough to convince the others of his innocence. On raised hands Tithin was carried, struggling up to the roof, he was flenced of his room key, mobile phone and wallet. "you can't cut back on my funding! you will regret this!" he cried oddly into the twilight as he was cast off the roof of the Holiday Inn. Tithins body sailed through the air in the same way bricks dont, struck a potted palm, spun reactively and landed with a subdued thud. his leg twitched, and blood ran across the brick path and into the garden. Satisfied the group moved down to the second floor where they opened his room and started ransacking his stuff. Much to their alarm, they found Tithins room bereft of Socialist paraphernalia, he didnt even own a single piece of red clothing. He even had a copy of Kofi Annans biography, the inner cover signed by Annan reading; "Tithin, You make me hopeful for the future of the world knowing you will be one of the young leading it, stand strong and fight for what you believe in. You can do anything, Kofi Annan." Piss. ------------------ Tithin. Vanilla Townie, was lynched. End Day 3. Night actions. you have until 9am EST to report in.

Day 4. Tithins body is hidden under a large mound of mulch near the groundkeepers shed and everyone goes to bed a little embarrassed. The hashtags go quiet as the gravity of the stuation sinks in. When did the Young Greens become Lord of the Flies. When the new day dawns everyone is on the lookout for anything odd, and all assemble in the dining hall early. Splode is missing and grim fear replaces anxiety among the room. Investigating his absence the contingent finds him on the floor of his room, theres a scent in the air and signs of a struggle as his laptop is lying on the floor, chair knocked over and a vase of sticks and pebbles is strewn about. Over his head is a plastic bag, ziptied around his neck. He lies sideways, lips blue, eyes bugged. A red flag is draped over the TV and a SA with a circle around it is marked on the wall with what looks like half a packet of tim tams. Thats how you get ants. Its a horrible sight, made even more awful when someone removes the bag from his head. A wretched stink emenates from the bag. Whoever did this had filled a bag with farts before pulling it over his head. Splode was literally forced to huff farts until he died.  And the poopertrator is still at large. ======================== Splode, Town aligned One-shot doctor (expended), was killed. Day 4 Begins.

I have to say Kommando, that you have had the best flavour text out of any game of mafia I have played. I thought Bell Jar's Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy themed one was going to be hard to beat. Before we start speculating, I would very much like to hear from small keating, since he should have had two more night actions to glean info. They may as well tell us what they know since they outed themselves on d1
