Two things confirmed it for me - the first was his strident defense of you, but the major thing that tipped me was his response to my "there's scum on this lynch" post. Worlds biggest tell to me. The only one I didn't twig to until right at the end was Milky. That was well done. Mills posted:Yeah you were good but I can't remember a single other active player. The 4 main scum were super active. Most of my conversations were with them. I remember thinking that I was going to have a tough time convincing Milky/Beet/Bif to vote with me if I wanted them all voted out. I deliberately didn't voice suspicions of Beet and Bif in thread, and I was very soft touch on Milky who I wanted to free pass til D3 for being a bro anyway. I'm up for a new game. Hopefully we can be scum together. I mean, inside the game.

Well done Kommando - really good game! Also as I said in the thread well done to the mafia for throwing Anidav under the bus! It made me second guess all the scum. Its a pity that town were so inactive though - especially around NYE. It may have been a bit different if that first Anidav lynch went through

Votecount for Day 6 Freudian Slip (4): Milky Moor, Small Keating, Matthew Beet, Bifauxnen Small Keating (3): Bifauxnen, Bifauxnen (0): Small Keating, Not Voting (0): With 7 alive, it's 4 votes to lynch. The current deadline is January 04th, 2015 at 9 p.m. EST -- that's in about 0 minutes. One SAltie is dead. The extreme left dissidents are still at large. Was that a loving bear?

Great work from Kommando, hilarious flavour text, glad to see I created some drama over on the scumdoc. The first half of my play was definitely informed by dumb choices and dumb luck in not being killed for them, but the second half was intentional loving around for the sake of it, since the more poorly I performed, the more chance I had of the scum taking it. New game? Y/N?

Kommando, hands down the best game of mafia I've played. You did an amazing job with the flavour text and I was really interested in everything that happened. I am definitely up for the next game. Also, gently caress all you townies for completely ignoring how I pointed my finger at Bif or Anidav, Anidav flipped scum, I died, and then none of you went after Bif.

I'm done for now. I ran my game. Now its back to work tomorrow. I basically neglected all my normal threads doing this. Some specific questions: What did you think of the set day lengths instead of hammer? Small Keating, what was going through your head? How was it knowing you had to find the scum and defend them without knowing who they all were? Was the one shot roles too nerfy? I tried to make it kinda power light so there was more reading rather than nightactions. why did you all roleclaim? Scum, what did you think of the democratic godfatherless system? I think it added a bit of passive power to the scum as the investigators had to hit a moving target. I know you all like the fluff, what was your favourite?

I really liked the drama that came around from his role, even more after reading the PM with the full details on how it was set up. We were so uncertain about it, thinking he must be a 3P survivor that had thrown in with us only now that it looked like the town was hosed, and could flip back at any time. quote:Scum, what did you think of the democratic godfatherless system? I think it added a bit of passive power to the scum as the investigators had to hit a moving target. After spotting Bif with the bear, I initially didn't realise that Bif wouldn't know I was scum-aligned or that the first obvious move would be to NK me. As a result, I sort of blithely went about my business, figuring we were all on the same page and as such I would run interference whenever someone got close to Bif and otherwise watch for fellow Bif-supporters, who I figured were most likely to be scum. I also worried that my stupid moves early in the game would continue to be my undoing. Eventually, I realised the precariousness of my position and was glad of the opportunity to put up a flare (i.e claim Bif was not involved in the TOML NK), which seemed to do the trick. On the last day, I was quite worried we didn't have the numbers because of absenteeism and that Bif was going to throw me under the bus, Anidav-style, to get back in with the townies, but at the last moment the scum cavalry showed up and all was well. Solid game.

I might hop in the next game if it's in a week's time. We'll see! As far as day length vs hammer goes... Hammer has a bit more immediacy and invites a bit more suspicion of the person who drops the final vote since, in a way, it is the most powerful. With day length, there's a bit more of a possibility for mindfucks. I kind of like it. However, I also agree that nothing seemed to really change once the vote was decided. Like TOML, it just didn't really add anything.

Maybe if we had more active players next time. I mean on day 4 I was trying to loop people to vote with me on something but town was too asleep and in the end all I got was TBK and Mith into a mindfuck. Which was good anyway but with more active players it would have been a tad better and maybe have gotten hooman on day 4. Days length but only if the playerbase is proven active.

I also worried that my stupid moves early in the game would continue to be my undoing. Yeah, today was weird for a while, cause we were convinced you had to be siding with us, but I thought they had a real good case on you. With the game nearly in the bag, but town inaction helping with that a lot, I kind of wanted to score more scummy points by keeping you alive if possible, as a survivor who'd ended up on our side. But while I had thought up some decent defense, since they all still thought I was scummy too, I thought it might really backfire if I was trying too hard. I was just writing up that really weak "ooh hmmm I'm not sure now, SK better post so we can find out" post when you posted at the same time! So I was like "ah hah, what's the report then" and you said TBK, the guy everyone already thought was town and had now just dropped dead the same time you said to be visiting him. I had no clue what to think but I thought you had completely hosed yourself over and the townies would all vote for you anyway, so I decided to get in the first one to look more towny. But then the other scum pointed out that it hardly mattered at this point if you just stayed voting with us. I was just really hoping that the town could have been swayed away to lynching someone else of their own volition, but that was getting a bit too greedy.
