It would be pretty neat if it just went slow mo w/ a blood spray for a second, and if you hit multiple dudes the blood fountains would be simultaneous. you'd still get hella electrolytes.

My favorite thing about the Dark Souls camera is they fully expected people to use it not only while having to press the 4 face buttons and shoulder buttons including the tiny stupid one if your on 360 or a 360 controller, but also at 30 frames a second.

As for the controls, the pretty funny part is people insist you need to have a analog control stick to really be able to handle the game. lmfao

It's alright, but I think folks are better off just playing either Quake 2 or CPMA proper, or, hell, the new Reflex game that's come out recently and is on fire. I actually played a game of it the other day and it was pretty epic although it's not very well optimized yet.

You can disable stun with a cvar. The weak/strong ammo thing is lame but I don't know if it's still even around. It's probably disableable with a cvar but Quake 3 modding is also really easy.

Like 5 different Classic Arena FPS Style FPS Early Access games have come about lately but the one worth a poo poo is Reflex. There's one that's got like a Heretic/Painkiller sort of vibe but it's like UT so it's uhh well you know, Wickworld or something is the name, then Toxikk which styles itself as a UT clone I guess, then uhh Reborn which I don't think it's out but 2gd showed it off a little and it looks like Quake but if a moba idiot decided to try ruining Quake. There's a other one I think but I don't remember what it's called, and then there's Reflex, which will be dead on arrival most likely but easily the champion among them.
