I think the success of the Phantom, and the fact that the cloaking mechanics work pretty well, means we will see at least one other stealth ship. Maybe an illegally upgraded Scum ship?

It's all of 10mins from Minneapolis and St. Paul downtowns, so it's not really the middle of nowhere  And yes, the promo card is always worth a good chunk, and you get two. I sold my Vaders this year for ~$120 each, which funded all of Wave 5 and 6, plus the Raider. That's one of the perks from living 5 minutes from FFG. That and playing with the developers regularly.

It tore through a Fat Han with some lucky rolls, destroyed a Dash list, and took out two rebel swarms (one was a XXXZZZ, the other being that BBBY list with a bunch of stress inducing stuff, which is why I was glad I had Yorr). It's a fun list, and Echo was actually more useful than Whisper, as everyone focused on Whisper allowing Echo to sneak around easier.

I'm pretty sure FFG doesn't want to delve too far into the post trilogy EU because they want to get in on the Force Awakens merchandise when it comes out. If I could change one thing about this game, I would leave Phantoms and turrets as they are, I wouldn't bother making ordnance mite effective, but I would give the goddamn astromechs more descriptive names.

I've been having fun with: Hobbie w/ Flechette Torps, R2D6, MF, Opportunist Wes w/ VI, FT, MF Wedge w/ Opportunist. The idea is Wes shoots off any beneficial tokens, and the other fire 4/5 dice at the unlucky sum'bitch. What was wierd is I old my opponent the schtick ahead of time in the games I played with it last week, but they all target Hobbie First. It's a fun list.

Any maneuver where the template or ship base overlaps an obstacle, you lose your action and roll a red die, taking one damage if a regular hit is rolled. If the base overlaps, you also can't attack that round and are more than likely going to trip the first condition again when you fly off. Any attack that goes through an obstacle also adds one green die to the defending ship's roll

This evolved from a Soontir + Lambda + Vessery build that depended on the Lambda and Soontir acquiring TLs to buff Vessery's attacks. Ran that once and discovered the Lamba was a waste of points. Switched the Lamda for a Phantom with FCS (to dish out additional TLs) and subbed Soontir for Turr. I love Soontir but at least this way after Turr moves and acquires a TL, Vessery can move, focus and make use of Turr's TL to trigger his ability. THEN, when Turr fires, he can use his TL normally. With Soontir at PS9, I had to decide to either spend his TL on Soontir's attack or save it for Vessery's. Turr Phennir (25) Push the Limit (3) Targeting Computer (2) Colonel Vessery (35) Heavy Laser Cannon (7) Veteran Instincts (2) Sigma Squadron Pilot (25) Fire-Control System (2) Total: 100

The scum and villainy product statuses have changed to shipping now so expect them in stores in 1-2 weeks. Since I'm in school and don't have room to purchase things and bring them home for spring break, I'll have to see what arrangements I can make. I don't want my mom thinking I bought Star Wars toys instead of books for this sem if I get it shipped to the house.  (This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't live in nova but because of store champs season and its popularity I bet all the stores are gonna be out of stock by March.)
