Adam is a wonderful example of how a player should go about his business in the NRL
The emphasis on quick play the balls by the refs in the Warriors/Panthers trial is very promising.

I like the attacking player being allowed to be hit in mid air as they're normally the ones with any momentum in challenges and it makes it a bit farcical to defend kicks into the ingoal if you have to let them come down (with the current levels of skill exhibited by the wingers/back).

The new super league rule which forces refs to give a decision before sending it to the screen, is ridiculous.

Cas tigers just scored a perfectly good try against the dragons, but because the camera couldn't see the (definitely onside) winger as the ball was kicked, the ref's original call stands. Even though it's really obviously wrong.

I disagree with all of this. when a player is tackled in the air nobody has control of what happens next.

You're still allowed, in super league, to challenge in the air, but as soon as a player has control of the ball you have to let him land.

I was at that game, it was quite funny. So many knock ons, especially since it was completely dry out there. Was pretty funny to watch since the kids between games stole the pipes holding at least one corner flag up so it just had to lie next to the field all night.

Also joined up as a member there since it was $1 and the drinks were $5 each... Also we are on the courtesy bus range :getin:

Nobody. Everyone is either overseas or injured - there was only one name on the teamlist I recognised and that was from a fringe-fringe-fringe player.

Trying to guess where the Warriors will finish is the most difficult thing. Is there any other team that is likely to finish first as it is last?

Also I think the Sharks might be a surprise outfit this year, they've recruited resoanbly well and aren't coached by Ricki Stuart. Canberra and Titans will be fighting for the wooden spoon imo.

Souths, Cowboys and Storm to be minor premiers.

It's about finding that next group of core players we can win with in the next 6, 8, 10 years. Let's face it, it's hard for 20-, 21-, 22-year-olds to lead an NHL team. Look at the playoffs.
