But I had some questions about this one. What's this actually made of, and when you bought it,w as it already framed because it seems like you';d need to get a custom frame made for something like that. Also that setup with the doors and the piece in the middle is really great.

a friend and local artist somehow ended up with a shitload of aluminum siding, and decided to cut it into reasonable-size pieces and attempt to make something cool out of it i got this for trade, which is good because i didn't have fiddybuck at the time it's hard to tell but the non-pacman-ghost alien things are cool little 3d sculptures glued on

well i could post pictures in here all day but i'll try to restrain myself this is one of a set of 2.  i got them for $15 at goodwill local photographer, local otter  this is a crazy quilt i've been working on for years. every time i go to put the backing on i decide it needs just one more thing and i wind up spending more hours on it. so i finally just tacked it on the wall without the backing. so now it can haunt me every day     i'm reasonably certain that they call them crazy quilts because you have to be crazy to do one

holy poo poo duckie that crazy quilt has stolen my heart I have a box of old scraps and rags that are too pretty to throw away and I keep saying someday I'll learn to quilt and make a crazy quilt out of them and this clinches it. you're such an inspiration

No amazing art, but I do have a couple of lovely posters Back when I was obsessed with Pingu circa 2011/2012  Poster for a documentary on rabbit shows. I actually attended its premiere, which was at the ARBA National Convention (which is basically the rabbit equivalent of, like, the Eukanuba dog show). The little pamphlet in the DVD case for this documentary has pictures of that premier and I'm front and center in one of the pictures, lol.

I lied. There's a couple of small paintings hanging in one of our bathrooms, of all places. One is by an artist named Hihwea-yea (I assume Native American, not only because of the name but because this painting, I believe, was passed down to my mother from her mother's will; her mother was something like 1/4 or 1/8 Native American), and I believe the other painting is from the same artist as well.

I used to have a huge archery face (target, not an actual face) up on the wall that I got my first spider (bullseye) on. it had hundreds of holes in it because it was used for practice a lot but it was still cool.

They're listed as "mixed media" but as far as I can tell all the little colour rectangles are small pieces of wood, some painted, some with pictures glued on. It came framed but I think you could get something like that framed yourself. They just need to mount the piece to something (like a piece of wood) and then enclose the frame around that.
