I don't think I can handle playing any games at the moment. Doodling notes on a game I might run in a month or two is a lot less mentally straining than actually playing a game.

Taking breaks from Mafia when I felt that way went a long way towards keeping me engaged in the game/community on a longer-term basis. Listen to your gut!

A game with no kills favours scum?

I'll elaborate on the thought experiment. 11 players, 2 scum, no flips, game ends when players decide to not form a majority or two players remain.

The no flips is the hard part here. Without flips, then there is no source of new, mod-confirmed, information for the town. Basically, town is perpetually in day one of a normal game, which is the hardest part for town.
