Giving politicians the benefit of the doubt when their policies have horrible results is really stupid. Like when the SCOTUS thread got derailed for a while since even though Republicans have gone of record they want to get rid of abortion, people in the medical community have said their recent "mother protection" policies are unnecessary and illogical, and the bills have resulted in abortion clinics closing due to be unable to meet these regulations that other clinics don't have to worry about we can't know FOR SURE that they are trying to make abortion illegal. It also ties into how it's literally impossible to be racist since we don't have a wizard that can look into people's true hearts and confirm that they are racist regardless of the actions they do. Anyone trying to say that Religious Freedom law is anything other than a way to make discrimination legal is either a total fool or a bigot and its irritating when people have to be polite about it. Oh I wish that this were true. My kids school district includes the local gated community so the pta is a social club for those moms there who don't work outside the home.
