There was a race last year I can't recall where he took the gamble and called the decision and it didn't pay off, but he had a cracking race, and then you have a race like Montréal which went down as one of the greatest races in F1 history. The thing to note here is that when Button calls a tyre change his team respects him enough to go through with it rather than demanding he races to 'team strategy'.
