This one loving owns. I love the way the door frames the shot. If they have another bay (preferably one to the right) you should capture an image with a car on the lift at the corresponding bottom 1/3 location so that I can put one on each of my monitors. Also could I talk you into doing a 3840x2160 (or closest at your crop) so I could run native res on my monitor?

What batteries do you folks use in your Pentax 67s? I bought one to replace my dead one, but it's mysteriously vanished. Should I be using lithium or silver oxide, or is alkaline fine?

I don't have a metering prism.

Do you find yourself cropping a lot of the 6x9 shots?

Spedman

Only one of those shots is significantly cropped, and in general I don't do much of it with images from that camera. I've found the FOV of the GW690ii is very close to my FOV when looking at a scene (which is the main reason why I love using it), so I'll tend to naturally zoom with my feet to get the shot I'm after.

I think that makes sense.

Is E6 harder to process than C-41? I just got charged $75 to process 7 rolls of film. 3 (maybe 4?) of the rolls were Fuji Astia.

This is from my normal place also, where while it is expensive, it's not that expensive.

Edit: I just got the breakdown from my girlfriend who picked the film up:

3 rolls 35mm Portra 400: $14.99
3 rolls 120 Astia 100: $47.97
1 roll 120 Portra 400: $5.99

gently caress.

That's almost triple what Citizens' charges for E6 and a time and a half what they charge for C41. You could have mailed them that stuff and it'd have cost half as much after shipping.

Also, 120 is 60mm wide. :)

By half what they charge for C-41, do you mean double?

Regardless, maybe I should start sending my stuff out. I like supporting the last few places in New York, but I guess not if I'm getting gouged.

Dork (or other NYC goons): where do you get your stuff processed?

It's not really harder, the volume is just so much lower that they need to charge more to keep it worthwhile. It's over $10 per roll of E6 here last I checked.

I send my 120 to Vista CRC Imaging, $6.40 for E-6. I've been happy with their work and turn around times. They are not great for 35mm though.
