There has always been a steady decline but this was like an absolute drop with only 4 of us surviving it.

Yeah, I only play GTA Online when I have nothing else going on. Right now I've got MGS5, Far Cry 4, and a whole fuckload of dumb Japanese poo poo to play so GTAO is kind of low on the priority list right now.

I may be done with GTAO as well now that Mad Max and MGS5 are out. It's been fun while it lasted, but honestly I think GTAO is an environment that is empty and toxic. Cockstar seems to have no interest in actually expanding the online experience by adding new things to do and would rather take the cheap route and add expensive cars and clothes for idiots to buy with shark cards. Maybe I'll hop on from time to time to kill dudes or whatever, but right now Max and Snake have my attention.

I think I'm done as well. I loaded in today to try out bmx stuff. Some guy dumped a bunch of money on me and then I got bored. There's nothing left to do in the game. Not to mention I still can't buy a hot knife on PC. Why can't they fix that after several months?

I'm pushing ahead to the requisite level and cash for this character to afford a Buzzard and go on a killing spree, but like cheap crack, I too am finding an increasing hollowness in my heart that I'm increasingly wondering why I'm attempting to fill with GTAO. Even the armoured Insurgent pickup wasn't quite as exciting as I'd hoped it would be. Still, only three years until the next one!

Had 8 people packed in the arena smashing each other and hijacking each others cars to keep going. It was some of the most fun we've ever had in GTAO. Make your own fun to fill that empty heart. Currently I'm trying to decide the best way to set up Panto soccer.

I don't know, I think things are pretty good. I mean, we did hit a rough patch before the heist update and now that the heists have been here for a while we've had to make a lot of changes to our lifestyle but things are looking all right. After all these years you do have to kind of work to avoid falling into a rut but I think we've managed. Sure, we don't do it as often as we used to, maybe a couple of times a week. We don't always get to finish, either, but we still had some fun and we were still able to enjoy each other even if it wasn't quite as satisfying as it used to be. Right now we're kind of trying out an open relationship with other games, you know, just for the variety and spontaneity of the whole thing. I know we'll have to be careful to make sure that everyone gets equal game time and nobody is excluded because lord knows the last thing we need is more drama. It's like when the PC release happened, and it brought all this drama and fighting because there were so many other people coming in and out of our lives and it got kind of confusing and some feelings got hurt, but I really feel like we've done a lot to move on since then and it doesn't hurt that most of those other players were just a short-time thing and there weren't any, like, real emotional attachments like the one we share. I love you GTAO thread.

To be fair, Mad Max is really fuckin fun. I'll probably be back around more after I finish the game and build my ultimate spikey post-apoc killmachine, but right now i'm loving that game too much to play anything else

I'm just getting back into GTA: Online. Took a hiatus during the summer, just finished up the singleplayer. At about level 90, I'll be looking to do heists and such. (PC)

Doing random LTS joins on your phone can be a great way to get neat game modes. The other day on the xbox one, I got some dude's LTS that was bumper cars with Pantos and Brawlers on top of skyscrapers with more space on the edges made of sheds.

srsly tho i don't blame anyone for getting bored w/GTAV. it's been a month since the last heist bonus week, two months since ill-gotten gains II, and the prospects for substantial updates in the near future look slim imo. It has been a blast playing with you goons on GTA online tho for realsies  tiggah and i with our tricked out gold automobiles just chillin out at the mod shop  you can't deny that this game is something special (hey glipglops i'm using an ATM )and also just a reminder that GTAV has sold 54 million copies, including 3 million+ on PC, and that the grand theft auto series as a whole has sold more than 220million copies in it's lifetime.  i fukken love this game so much guiz plz don't go away for too long  also i think tophats asked about my opinions regarding the blista compact and i said i got my fill of it in GTAIV and felt it was kind of played out, and i found this screenshot in my steam profile that might be worth a laugh  yes, that is a city street in liberty city that is filled with all blista compacts and only blista compacts

I've got a huge backlog of games and so between that, Rocket League and the Nathan Drake collection coming out next month, I won't have much time left for this. I made it almost two years though. Though if this new free roam mode is any good that will lure me back. That and Goon Night Racing Events.

Although my social club and online connection problems didn't start until I tried to mod single player last month, I wouldn't be surprised if Rockstar just happened to reduce their server resources at this point since player counts have dropped significantly. Gotta save every penny they can, even if it gives those that still play a worse experience. Top right corner shows the current leaderboard filter, that score is overall RP earned. You gain crew XP by doing anything that normally grants you XP. I think that you earn the same amount of crew XP as normal XP but I'm not 100% sure on that.
