So remember the dossier for the angler and even the devs talked about about luminescent lighting for the primitive tiers? And then we all got disappointed because we were expecting globes to toss down that stayed lit for awhile.

Well, that isn't quite true! Take some anglergel and power a standing torch! The light is doubled, changes color to blue, and instead of a flame, you get a blue crystal on the top. Note also that gel already has a reported length of about 4x spark powder, and well.. not bad.

Edit: Specifically, wiki has duration in a standing torch of 1 hour and 13 minutes with angler gel. A stack of 100 will last you 5 days.

I play all alone on single player. Every time I start the game, I have to go into the console and type "r.bloomquality 0" and "r.lightshafts 0" is there a way to configure it to do that on startup?

I'd like to paint all my egg laying dinosaurs the same color scheme with the console command "settargetdinocolor x x" The problem is that there are up to 6 commands to paint each dinosaur and I have a lot of dinos. Is there a way to write a script so that every time I press F1 (or whatever) it will execute multiple console commands such as this?

AutoHotKey can do this. As can various other popular scripting programs which I forget the names of.

You can add a few lines in one of the config files and it'll always start with that setting.

What seemed to work for me was editing the Engine.ini file found in

code:

ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Then just add in those two commands under system settings and you should be good to go. You may want to set the file as read only too, but I haven't had any issues not doing that so far.
