i like parrots too, it's just that the cockies are the noisiest, most rear end in a top hat parrots around. we have king-parrots, galahs, gang-gangs, lorikeets, crimson and eastern rosellas, and some other less common species around and they're all prettier and less assholish than the cockies. i mean don't get me wrong, having the cockies around is better than some jackass starling or house sparrow, i'm just saying that you have better options for an aussie bird to hang out with

honestly my favorite is probably the aussie magpie. they're pretty (albeit not as striking as any of the parrots), very smart, and have a voice that sounds like like r2d2 getting in a swearing match with a theremin
