Welcome to Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup, a Sort Of Choose Your Own Role setup for 14 players. Do not worry about PMing me a role you choose, you will select your role ingame.

Adventurers must delve into the depths of the dungeon, braving the demon lords of four hells to obtain their mystical runes and unlock the domain of Zot where they can claim the mystical Orb of Zot and ascend to the surface.

To face the mighty demon lords, each player may devote themselves to a god once the game has started. Each god will give a different power and drawback. But beware, the demon lords too will pick a god and they too will gain a power and a drawback on top of their innate abilities. Gods will be chosen on day 0, once roles have been assigned. There will be no night 0 actions.

Standard mafia rules apply:

Nights will be closed. (During the Night phase, the thread will be locked and nobody can post.)
No posting after the hammer. (The "hammer" is the final vote required to execute a player. It marks the end of the day, so noone is allowed to post after it.)
No out of thread communication unless you are specifically told that you are permitted to. (All communication related to the game must happen in the thread, unless you have an ability to the contrary. E.g. the scumteam can communicate out of thread)
NO toxxing/betting/truth or dare. (These things all just mess up the game, and are out of bounds.)
Hangings are majority, not plurality. (A majority of players is required to execute a player. If the day ends without this majority, nobody is executed.)
No posting mod PMs. (Posting communications from the moderator essentially confirms you as your claimed role. Don't do it.)
No editing posts. (Editing posts allows a player to undo something that incriminates a player. If you make a mistake, it must remain for all to see.)
No faking day actions. (Pretending to have a day action when you don't just confuses things.)
No lurking. (Activity is the lifeblood of games. People not posting just screws things up.)
No posting screenshots from any kind of chat doc. (The scum players have a google doc, and there are other roles which potentially use them. Please do not post any direct links/screenshots of them.)

Seriously, don't lurk. If you sign up and later realise you can't commit to this game, PM me and ask for a replacement. But ideally, only sign up if you can truly contribute to the game.

Breaking the rules will make a player liable to be killed by the moderator.

Town win condition: You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.
Scum win condition: You win when scum players control the vote.
3P win condition: ???

Will we be claiming our gods openly, and requesting them in-thread, or is that going to be something we should keep secret?

Because if it's out in the open, then I want to dibbs Ru, with the understanding that I will actually be worshipping Ru(Paul), god of sacrifice and looking sickening, hunty, and setting my own additional win condition of "being the Dungeon's next drag superstar."

But if we can't talk about them publicly then never mind, and I'll probably go with someone else anyway, because that's the only reason I'm picking Ru(Paul) to begin with.
