I had forgotten the Roy Orbison thing so I googled it & it does not surprise me that it's Ulrich Haarbürste aka Hairbrush that wrote the Roy Orbison cling film book(s). He also wrote the "foreverially tiedup delitized" texts. There's a dude who knows his fetish, I guess.

I think that might be a different guy; I can't find any links to the delitized stuff on Michael Kelly's page, and he seems to be the one behind the Ulrich Haaarburste cling film stories. Question : Tim Buckofshit or whatever his name is, the one who makes Ctrl-Alt-Del, he's been drawing for ages, how come he's still such a lovely artist (hell, he even regressed shomehow)?
|

i think that he actually improved a bit
|
# ? Dec 5, 2015 16:55 |

Yeah he's actually doing miles better than he used to. If you used to follow the mock threads the lack of effort was just laughable and what started them in the first place, but eventually he started trying to compose scenes, stopped copy-pasting everything, and even dropped the B^U faces he used to slap on everyone. So it's still not super-inspired now, but the amount of improvement comparatively is actually kind of impressive. Secretly, toward the end, I think we were all cheering for him. Now you wanna talk regression, we can talk about Penny Arcade and its devolvement into [words] and godawful kricfalusi faces. I think it may actually have more buckleyboxes than CAD does now.

Modern CAD is the unironically better than modern PA. This says more about how PA has changed than it does about CAD

Full Battle Rattle posted:is a buckley box like a bucky ball? Well, a bucky ball is a spherical fullerene molecule with the formula C60 with a cage-like fused-ring structure (truncated icosahedron) which resembles a football (soccer ball), made of twenty hexagons and twelve pentagons, with a carbon atom at each vertex of each polygon and a bond along each polygon edge, whereas a Buckley Box is mostly about using too much text to explain a joke.
