Alternate reality theory for geeky poo poo no one really cares about but it got mentioned in the video so away we go! Lyman lost his gig at Garfield for mistreating the star, and had to moonlight in other comics. His first new gig was as Uncle Max in Calvin and Hobbes, but he made the mistake of humoring his nephew by going into his "pretend time machine" - which was set for before the Big Bang. Lyman then spent an unknown amount of time, just floating in the formless, entropy-lacking void. He was eventually rescued by a couple of time travelers that accidentally wound up there themselves, one of them actually recognizing the poor bastard (which was the point in the comic where we end up with an infodump, comic fans apparently having wondered for a while "What happened to Lyman?" and "Where did Calvin's Uncle Max ever disappear to?") I would link to this storyline, but sadly, Melonpool has since undergone a reboot (twice!), and Steve Troop has long since removed everything before the 2014 restart. =\

Plasma Cutter it is! We'll use the Pulse Rifle in episode 9 and try to make it feel better because it was last pick.

Hopefully the pulse rifle knows it's picked last not because it's bad, but because it's a known, dependable factor.

The long coat means that the Divider isn't Slenderman. No, he's a tasteful an homage to the three-kids-in-a-trenchcoat gag. The only difference is that once you learn their secret, you gotta stomp the children to death.

I can't believe it's just called Peg Solitaire, that's not as good of a name as JEREMIAH'S TRIANGLE.

The little critter near the end of the video was indeed a hand! It's one of the things I like about Necromorphs that is straight from The Thing , pieces of living organisms can become their own Things. Doesn't make much sense when you think about how the larger Necromorphs just completely die after lopping off their two claws, but whatever, it's cool. Also it reminded me of Lamarr from Half-Life 2.

No kidding, the Viscera Cleanup Detail game helped prepare me for my brief stint as a resort housekeeper. It perfectly gamifies your exasperation when you enter a messy, used room for the first time that needs to be cleaned within the hour. Anyhow, what the hell line of code have you accessed that spawned so many Twitchers? I have seen everything in this game, but the Twitcher Hangout Power Hour never happened for me. Just Mr. Regen and that one guy who sometimes gets the urge to do laps.
