Many loblaws stores still carry No Name brand products in the classic black-helvetica-on-yellow packaging. I personally kind of like them. Really fulfills my cyberpunk fantasies to wake up and drink my INSTANT COFFEE and eat some CORN FLAKES and brush my teeth with MINT TOOTHPASTE

Now back to horrible mechanical failures I guess.

Pointing the exhaust down increases the measured dB. The measuring station is on the outside of the track and it's a CCW track. This means up and to the left.

Yeah, it makes sense that it needs to point towards the center of the car, but he couldn't rotate it about 60 degrees or so counterclockwise? So maybe he doesn't barbecue his bumper? I don't know, I feel like better decisions could have been made here.

He probably made some exhaust/turbo mods and that was the first time with everything like that. But yeah, doesn't take a genius to see that the exhaust is just going to hang right there not only because it's pointed there but the aerodynamics creating a low pressure bubble there is going to make it much worse. loving Laguna Seca. No, loving richy assholes who live near there. Even Thunderhill, which is practically in the middle of nowhere gets constant grief from rear end in a top hat ranchers and poo poo. I'm actually amazed that they were able to build their western track expansion. Constant bullshit noise complaints and constant bullshit political/legal maneuvering is what runs most race tracks out of business. Joe Mama fucked around with this message at 19:47 on Jan 17, 2016 |

I think that is a jdm bumper cover too, which are fairly expensive (people buy them because they don't stick out as far and come with a lighter beam, and the fake diffuser looking thing). And the wing is something like $2500.

I agree with this, although last year alone I was there 5 times on either high decibel or unlimited decibel days. If you can't be bothered to figure out your flamethrower Evo won't pass sound tech that's your fault.

Vehicles of old only lasted longer than the warranty because we didn't know enough about metallurgy and engineering enough to design otherwise, so it was safer to overbuild than of underbuild. The moment science and technology advanced to the level that we could plan head like we do now, we changed the design process. Old vehicles weren't better, per se. It's more like we didn't know any better, and erred on the side of caution.
