The texture of them looks temporary, and there's like a little transparent border around them. If they were actual ink, there'd also be a lot more redness from being drawn on with a burning needle.

The Walking Dead is pretty tame compared to Preacher and most of the violence happens to zombies and not people. Even if they show half of it it will own though. I can't wait to see the Assface.
