It's pretty dodgey whether or not I get actual English commentary for 80s races. Jackie Stewart covering Canada(?) was pretty bad though. I also suspect Nige wins this one, which makes me angry for a number of reasons. Tony quidprano fucked around with this message at 04:45 on Mar 16, 2016 |

Yeh the BBC observed the international sporting boycott even if F1 didn't. They made a documentary on it in 1983 - the BBC had announced that they would not be following the Rugby tour in 84 and Rugby fans had gone through the roof. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A8aS6A5HV0 edit: if you want to watch just one part then let it be from around 34mins in where the minister for sport tries to explain why black sportsmen were not allowed passports. learnincurve fucked around with this message at 09:17 on Mar 16, 2016 |

I like it. I like the colour and I have a sneaking suspicion that the flat nose is probably more sophisticated than it seems (and at least it doesn't look as ridiculous as the dicknoses of years gone by).

That was the Ltous backup plan for getting their cars to the tracks when their transporters were impounded. It's great after six years to finally not have any knock-off Lotus teams making GBS threads up the sport.

Well you are going to Melbourne which is a good and cool city, so do the usual and get drunk and maybe see some cars going by or breaking down, whatever. lol if I'm watching free practice at 1:30am on a school night. Repeats of both start from 9:30am.
